Is President Obama an Enemy of the United States?

Many have written asking me whether or not I think President Obama is indeed an enemy of the United States?

Before we dive into that, let's talk about a recent report which states that Saudi Arabia, the Middle East’s biggest economy and the world’s largest oil producer, is running out of its oil.

First of all, I do not "hate" Muslims. But, I do hate Islamic Terrorists who kill the innocent in the exact same way that I've hated other terrorist groups who kill the innocent.

For example, I remember reading about how the Irish Republican Army (IRA) used "Nail Bombs," homemade explosives packed with nails that delivered devastating carnage during their terrorist attacks. From what I read when I was studying terrorism in College, "Nail Bombs" were the preferred weapon of the IRA starting way back in 1918.

I was in College in 1981 when a "Nail Bomb" placed in a parked laundry truck exploded outside a British Army barracks in London. I remember how the Irish Republican Army (IRA) claimed responsibility for the act even though that blast killed an innocent elderly woman who happened to be walking by. Of course, that terrorist attack also maimed a combination of British soldiers and residents in that neighborhood. Yes, 40 people in all. Two of the 40 people who were maimed were children.

As for Saudi Arabia's support for Islamic Terrorists, besides bogus Muslim charities here and in Europe collecting money to fund Islamic terrorism, in particular ISIS, it is well known that Saudi Arabia is among the OPEC nations funding Muslim Terrorism.

Yes, the biggest donor for Muslims waging Jihad against the West has been the same people who funded the 9-11-2001 attack -- none other than Saudi Arabia according to none other than the 9-11 Commission. Of course, besides funding Muslim terrorist cells, and yes even Environmentalist Groups here, Saudi Arabia has also been funding the building of Mosques throughout Europe and the United States. But now, that might be coming to an end as experts estimate that the wells will run dry as early as 2030.

Oil revenue for Saudi Arabia reached $312 Billion this year and accounts for almost half the economy and 90 percent of their export revenue. It also makes the kingdom the Persian Gulf’s economic powerhouse among the OPEC nations.

This news, news that Saudi Arabia might run out of oil to sell in a mere 15 years from now, is expected to raise a number of problems for the economies of nations dependent on the Saudi black gold.

Thankfully, in spite of Obama's unwillingness to assist American Oil, estimates are favorable for our oil production into the next century -- even without drilling on Federal lands which the Obama administration is stopping us from using.

Our shale-oil boom will help the United States overtake Saudi Arabia as the world's largest oil producer by 2020, that is according to the International Energy Agency back in 2012.

Now with the news that the Saudi cash cow may die as soon as 2030, the bad news for countries unfriendly to the United States could be their eating crow real soon. But more importantly, the 2030 estimate means that the Saudis, and OPEC in general, will have a lot less money to spread the building of Mosques and funding terrorism -- which they consistently deny, but even the 9-11 Commission stated that they are in fact doing using covert methods no different than organized crime.

Will their economic collapse transform energy supplies as well as politics? You bet it will. And frankly, it may make diplomacy easier knowing that they don't have the money to support those wanting to kill us.

So now after reading this to my wife, she asked about reports about President Obama authorizing $770 Million for the creation, repair, and maintenance, of Mosques in Europe?

While this program was started to help refurbish cultural landmarks in different parts of the world, the Obama administration has used these funds to bankroll mostly Mosques in Europe. And yes, those are the very same Mosques that have been linked to anti-American and anti-British propaganda, hate propaganda meant to recruit killers. Yes, I hate Radical Muslims.

So yes, I see Obama as aiding our enemies which includes those who are visiting those Mosques which preach the need to kill us. Remember they see our death and destruction as something great and noble. And yes, Obama is refurbishing their meeting places with our Taxpayer dollars.

Even the Egyptian government is furious with Obama for meeting in the White House recently with the emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, who is known to support ISIS and the Muslim Brotherhood which Egypt kicked out of their country.

The Egyptians say that the Obama Administration has once again turned its back on moderate Arabs and Muslims by endorsing those who support and fund Islamic terrorist groups. The Egyptian condemnations of Qatar are also directed at the Obama Administration, which seems to be losing one Arab ally after the other because of its perceived support for Qatar and its proxy, the Muslim Brotherhood.

Yes, the same Muslim Brotherhood that is welcome in the White House and is helping Muslim Valerie Jarrett steer Obama's foreign policy toward ISIS and other Radical Islamists.

My King James Bible says, in Matthew 10:36, "And a man's foes shall be they of his own household."

Many here and in the Muslim world see the closed-door meeting between Obama and Muslims, including some who are known members of the Muslim Brotherhood, as more proof of his continued support of Islamic radical groups.

But how about more proof?

Recently Obama's Muslim sympathetic administration made public U.S. military war plans. Specifically, those plans to wage war against ISIS in the re-taking of Mosul in Iraq which is supposed to begin soon.

And by the way, by his administration doing such a treasonous act as aiding those we are about to attack, the Obama administration has put the lives of American troops as well as Coalition troops in mortal danger.

Yes, while the good news is that the Saudis will run out of oil and money to fund the needs of terrorist groups wanting to kill Americans, we have a President in the White House right now who is doing everything in his power to enable them to grow stronger.

Why would he do it you ask?

Well, frankly, knowing how he has surrounded himself with Muslim advisers, knowing how he has called the Muslim terrorist attack in Fort Hood "workplace violence," knowing his reluctance in calling a spade a spade and call the Boston Marathon Bombing an act of "Muslim terrorism", knowing he and his White House absolutely refuse to acknowledge that ISIS is, in fact, a "Radical Muslim" terrorist group, I agree with former mayor of New York City Rudy Giuliani who stated, "I do not believe that the president loves America."

In fact, I agree with Mayor Giuliani's entire statement, "I do not believe, and I know this is a horrible thing to say, but I do not believe that the president loves America. He doesn't love you. He doesn't love me. He wasn't brought up the way you were brought up and I was brought up, through love of this country."

I agree 100% with what Mayor Giuliani said. I also believe President Obama proves that Matthew 10:36 is correct in that we will find foes in our own households.

While I absolutely do not wish him any harm in any way shape or form, I believe his actions and policies are not of a friend of America. A friend and ally do not work to enable our enemies or try to change America into a Socialist state.

As for impeachment over his support of Radical Muslims, for his Socialist views, or because he does not love America? Sorry to say, none are enough to impeach a president -- no matter what harm he does to this country by way of his executive orders and socialist policies.

Yes, his being unpatriotic and stupid, his being uncaring and a pathological liar, his being a Socialist and a sympathizer for Muslims waging Jihad, his being lazy and sitting around the White House watching ESPN until Noon every day (by his own account), his acting like a dictator and issuing edict after edict instead of using the legislative process, all of these are not impeachable offenses.

Because of the fact that he is not committing "high crimes or misdemeanors", we must fight him in the courts and through legislation at every turn. Vigilance is what we must do to ensure he does not destroy America before leaving office. And frankly, he can go live in some Muslim country of his choosing, one which he truly loves, or go to Hell after he leaves office -- and good riddance to him.

While I never thought that I'd think this way about a President of the United States from either political party, I do because the evidence is so overwhelming: While supporting Radical Islam and promoting Socialism, President Barack Hussein Obama's actions have made Richard Nixon appear honest, Jimmy Carter appear competent, and Bill Clinton appear moral and virtuous. Those might not be impeachable offenses, but they should be!

And yes, that's just the way I see it.

Keeping It Simple -- Who Are We?

By Terry McGahey

It seems to me that many Americans today are straddling the fence when it comes to what their true feelings are and they seem to be afraid to offend others by stating the facts and/or opinions of what they truly believe in part due to Political Correctness.

To use a few police analogies, I ask these folks to take stock in themselves by asking; am I the coyote, one of the sheep, or the sheep dog or lama who protects the sheep?

The coyote is a sneaky predator which will always take the easiest target such as the old or the very young. This analogy basically applies to the criminal element in our society.

The sheep analogy applies to a large majority of the people who just go along with the crowd because everyone else is doing it. They go about their lives with their head down following the next guy or gal to the next fad or whatever it may be.

In other words the average citizen who believes it doesn't effect me so why should I care? But what those folks don't realize is that sooner or later, it will effect them in one way or another. These are the folks the coyotes, or in this case the criminals, prey upon.

Next comes the sheep dog and/or the lama. Always alert and watching over their flock against the predators who would do harm to their charges. This analogy doesn't just belong to police officers, it belongs to all of us!

When writing a police report it's pretty basic for the most part. The report consists of who, what, when and where.

At this point I would ask the average citizen to take a long hard look in the mirror and ask themselves honestly, Who am I?

Am I the coyote who takes advantage of people whenever I get the chance, or am I one of the sheep who can easily be led to slaughter?

Then again, am I the sheep dog or the lama who stays alert, watches out for my neighbors and others who can't or won't defend themselves against tyranny or criminal intent?

Once a person has answered one of these simple questions honestly, then they will realize their limitations and possibly learn more about themselves.

Should they decide they belong in the sheep category, so be it. But several folks may have it within them to become the sheep dog or lama. Not all will be able to do so, but for those who straddle the fence they may find it within themselves to do so. And believe me, we need more of them.

Now, before anyone poses the question, have I ever been a police officer -- my answer is no.

I have worked in personal protection and as an armed airport security officer. Through that job, I became involved with Wyoming State Homeland Security as a Wyoming State First Responder of which I am still a member.

Regarding Calling Today's Global Warming A Scam

After posting my latest article, "The Global Warming Hoax of 1874," I received criticism regarding my comparison of it to today's Global Warming Scam.

I am told that just using the term "Global Warming Scam" is politically charged and subsequently should not be said in an article -- especially when comparing it to another Global Warming Scam.

After posting that article on Facebook, I received a number of snide comments from Global Warming supporters, one asking me if I thought "the world was flat", another informed through a Liberal meme post on Facebook that 97% of the world's scientist agree that Global Warming is real.

It is not usually my nature to be confrontational. Believe it or not, I enjoy people and get along with everyone -- pretty much. It was the snide comment that pissed me off. And yes, the insult to my intelligence got my goat as well.

No, 97% of the world's scientist do not agree that Global Warming is real at all. From research that I have done on this "97%" number, I've found out that is a lie. It is just a fraud perpetrated by supporters of today's Global Warming Scam to justify their support.

If there is one thing about me that you, my friends, my readers, should know about me is that I don't look down my nose at anyone -- and I require the same from others.

I tried to explain that, as is the case today, there were a number of scams in the 1800s. As for Global Warming Scam today, fact is people should recognize and understand the cyclical nature of the environment.

A little education and ferreting out the facts instead of simply worshiping at that alter of Al Gore, George Soros, and Bill Gates, goes along way toward finding out the truth of the matter.

Instead of recycling Liberal memes and pictures on Facebook, and without using "political spin," I tried to present an article about the Global Warming Hoax of 1874 using contrast and comparison to the Global Warming Scam today.

One commented accused me of using "psycobabel," to which I asked if that person really knew what that meant?

People love using words that they hear but do not really understand. And yes, I asked the person to feel free to point out where I used jargon used in popular psychology? No reply came forward, because she found none.

Liberals should practice tolerance for different points of view. And frankly, they should at least attempt to present a thought of their own instead of simply regurgitating the Democrat Party's talking points.

As for the claim that we are today going through the worse drought in history. That is not true.

In October of 2014, just last year, NASA came and stated that the a new study using a reconstruction of North American drought history over the last 1,000 years found that the drought of 1934 was the driest and most widespread of the last millennium.

NASA Study Finds 1934 Had Worst Drought of Last Thousand Years

While I am a Conservative, and really make no bones about how I view politics, because of the accusation that my article was constructed using of Conservative Political Bias, I feel that you my reader should know a little more about me and how I do my research.

At the age of 17, I joined the United States Marine Corps. I served as a Grunt, but besides performing my primary 0311 MOS, my duties included Nuclear Weapons Security, duty in Corrections, and as a Military Policeman, and as an Instructor.

After leaving the Corps, I worked as a Security Supervisor, an Investigator, and a Consultant while obtaining a degree in the Administration of Justice. I later received a degree in Materials Technology and did Industrial Inspection work.

The reason that I am giving you my background is that I want you to know that when I do research for an article for my blog, I do it as a sort of "Crime Reporter" -- just looking for the facts with no dog in the fight.

I do my research with as much of an unbiased eye as I can. And yes, I base my results on facts and evidence.

Whether it has been as a Marine Instructor evaluating those in one of my platoons and/or classes, reacting to a prisoner's poor choices of actions, appraising a crime scene, evaluating the security needs of a facility or person needing coverage, doing an inspection at a power plant, or doing research for an article, my results are based on facts and evidence.

When I describe what I have learned, I'm simply giving my readers the facts of what I have found which are closest to the truth.

I cannot help it if it does agree with someone else's findings. And no, I try not to read the "opinions" of others because I like making up my own mind. Like a jurist, a judge, a historian, a researcher, all have a responsibility to think for themselves and present what they found -- and not simply regurgitate what others have found.

Unlike doing a spoof piece like that which I did on Jackalopes, which was fiction and fun, for honest research I go by the rule that says, "Until I'm proven wrong, I can only report what I find to be real."

Thanks for your understanding.

U.S. Marine Medal Of Honor Recipient Kyle Carpenter's Transformation ...

After Diving In Front of a Grenade.

This story was sent to me. I agree with the reader who sent this to me, all Americans should know the amazing story of Kyle Carpenter. It is a story of bravery, of purpose, and of an amazing transformation.

In 2010, Marine L/Cpl. Kyle Carpenter was sent to Afghanistan in support of Operation Enduring Freedom.

The picture below was his Boot Camp graduation picture. Pictures of what he looks like today are below the story of what happened to this Great American, a true American Hero.

Lance Cpl. William "Kyle" Carpenter and Lance Cpl. Nicholas Eufrazio were on a rooftop in Helmand Province in Afghanistan in November 2010 when they were attacked by enemy fighters.

During the attack, a grenade landed on the roof next to both Marines.

Without hesitation, Kyle Carpenter threw himself between the grenade and his fellow Marine.

L/Cpl Nicholas Eufrazio "received a shrapnel injury to the head from the grenade." L/Cpl Kyle Carpenter's body "absorbed a majority of the resulting explosion." That's according to the official Marine Corps' account of what took place.

After over 40 surgeries, and almost four years later, U.S. Marine Kyle Carpenter visited White House on June 19th, 2014, and received our nation's highest military honor, the Medal of Honor, from President Obama.

The award is given to those whose personal acts of valor and bravery go above and beyond the call of duty.

Kyle Carpenter’s Medal of Honor nomination stems from reports that, as a 21-year-old Lance Corporal (L/Cpl), he intentionally covered a grenade to save the life of his friend and fellow Marine, L/Cpl. Nicholas Eufrazio on November 21st, 2010, as the two Marines were standing guard on a rooftop in the Marjah district of Afghanistan’s Helmand province.

And yes, though were badly wounded, thank God that both Marines survived the blast.

Kyle Carpenter is America's youngest living Medal of Honor recipient. Also, Marine Corps veteran William Kyle Carpenter became the Marine’s third Medal of Honor recipient since the start of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan

It is truly unimaginable what this young man went through. Kyle Carpenter sustained an almost unbelievable array of injuries, including a skull fracture and a punctured lung. And yes, believe it or not, doctors at a military hospital pronounced him dead on arrival -- they were absolutely sure he wouldn't survive.

At the ceremony last June, 2014, Obama told those in attendance, "The man you see before you today, Cpl. William "Kyle" Carpenter, should not be alive today." .

Describing the killing force of a hand grenade, Obama said, "We are here because this man, this United States Marine, faced down that terrible explosive power, that unforgiving force, with his own body, willingly and deliberately, to protect a fellow Marine."

"With that singular act of courage, Kyle, you not only saved your brother in arms, you displayed a heroism in the blink of an eye that will inspire for generations -- valor worthy of our nation's highest military decoration," he added.

Kyle Carpenter, who is now a retired Marine Corporal and presently a college student, told CBS News that he never expected to get hit on that day in 2010 -- though he did come under fire at that same location the day before.

In 2012, Kyle Carpenter was also featured in correspondent Chip Reid's report on combat sketch artists.

"All the grenades the day before had actually come inside the compound that they had thrown over the walls," he said. "None had hit the roof or landed on the roof yet."

Today, he recalls that after the grenade landed, he threw himself at it, and it went off just a moment before he landed on it.  "The first thing I remember is just feeling like my entire body, and especially my face just got hit really hard with a 2x4. Like a TV without cable, just like the white and gray static screen -- that's what my vision looked like."

When other Marines arrived on the roof, Cpl Carpenter said, "I told them I was not gonna make it, and I kept telling them over and over that I was gonna die."

He recalls how the doctors at the nearby military medical facility agreed.

"I was labeled 'P-E-A,' which is 'patient expired on arrival.' I guess that's the politically correct way of saying you didn't make it."

In addition to his skull fracture and punctured lung, Cpl. Carpenter was blinded in his right eye, both of his eardrums were both ruptured, the carotid artery in his neck was punctured, he'd suffered 30 fractures to his right arm, shrapnel in both legs, and he lost most of his lower teeth.

Through a succession of more than three dozen surgeries, Kyle Carpenter said the staff at Walter Reed National Military Medical Center did a "phenomenal" job of making him whole again.

"I'm very pleased with how far I've come, and I see my injuries and my scars and all my buddies and everybody that was at Walter Reid with me, you know I see it almost as a form of character," he said.

"I'm totally fine knowing that I gave part of myself to a bigger purpose and a bigger cause, to not only serve my country but try to make a better way of life for other people and much less fortunate people."

The president praised Cpl. Carpenter's medical team, saying their example of excellence should inform the ongoing efforts to reform the troubled Veterans Affairs medical system.

"So many of our wounded warriors from today's wars are alive not just because of remarkable advances in technology, but primarily because of the extraordinary dedication and skill of our military and our VA medical professionals," Obama said.  "So we need to keep doing everything we can in our power to give our wounded warriors and those who treat them the support that they need."

This statement by President Obama is in stark contrast to his 2009 attempts at trying to cut the medical services of our returning wounded and veterans in general.

In fact, in 2009, President Barrack Hussein Obama tried to make our wounded warriors pay for their own treatment and after care therapy.

During the attack in 2010, L/Cpl Nicholas Eufrazio sustained a traumatic brain injury due to shrapnel from the grenade explosion, and his recovery continues today.

Kyle Carpenter said of his fellow Marine. "He's come a long way. He's recovering and I'm very proud of him."

At the ceremony, Obama also saluted Nicholas Eufrazio by saying, "Nick also suffered grievous wounds. As a result of traumatic brain injury, he couldn't speak for more than a year.  He also endured multiple surgeries. Today, his recovery continues.  He lives at home with his family in Plymouth, Massachusetts, where he is watching this ceremony.  So, Nick, on behalf of all of us, I want you to know we honor your sacrifice as well. Your perseverance is an inspiration."

Despite the recognition he's received, Cpl. Kyle Carpenter insisted his actions were well within the ordinary scope of a Marine's duty.

"You always hear 'band of brothers,' and that's exactly what we are," he said.

"I'll say I'm not surprised and no way patting myself on the back, because I know that if you put a thousand Marines in that situation, they would all do the same exact thing for me."

This is what Kyle Carpenter looks like today.

Though Cpl Carpenter’s face is marked by shrapnel scars from the grenade’s explosion, his heart is pure and great and brave.

He is a man to be respected and admired.  A man to be saluted.  And yes, his story should be told in schools across the nation as an example to others -- an example of courage and selflessness, of strength of character, of true self-sacrifice, of that what is noble.

God Bless Kyle Carpenter for being the man he is. God Bless this American Marine. God Bless the Marine Corps.

Killer of 3 Muslims in North Carolina an Atheist Democrat

The picture above is of a Liberal, an Atheist, a Progressive, a Democrat, a Killer, but you wouldn't know that fact from CNN, or ABC, CBS, NBC, MSNBC News.

While the Liberal Mainstream Media blast the killer of 3 Muslims young folks in North Carolina as being a "Right Wing Christian," the truth is being hidden from the American people.

He is in fact a hard-core Atheist, a Liberal, a Progressive, a registered Democrat.

It's true! The killer of the three Muslim students at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill were actually murdered by a crazed Progressive Atheist.

While it was big news when the Mainstream Media started calling him a Conservative, a Christian, a Republican, they are now is full retreat as the story has shifted to how their bias is ignoring the fact that the mas murderer was not a Christian and a Conservative -- but in fact one of them, an Atheist, a Liberal, a Democrat. Yes, he is probably an Obama supporter.

The victims, Deah Shaddy Barakat, 23, his wife, Yusor Mohammad, 21, and her sister, Razan Mohammad Abu-Salha, 19, were shot and killed by Craig Stephen Hicks, age 46.

Yesterday morning’s killing of three Muslim students in North Carolina quickly unleashed angry Liberals screaming out that this demonstrates and justifies President Obama's statements regarding "Christian Extremist".

The term “Islamophobia” was batted around, and some pointed fingers at "Angry Conservatives," and "Hatefilled Christians."

And yes, Conservative Blogs and FoxNews are said to be accomplices to mass murder.

Leftists, Liberals, Democrats, including Muslim activist all took to Facebook and Twitter to vent their outrage at American Christians.:

But then, suddenly the story revealed that the murderer, Craig Stephen Hicks, was in fact an avowed Atheist and not a Christian. And yes, beyond being an avowed Atheist -- Hicks is a “Militant Atheist,” who has raved and ranted his hatred from Christians and Conservatives.

Hicks Facebook
Profile Picture
Yes, turns out that the gunman Craig Stephen Hicks was a died-in-the-wool Left-Wing Progressive who has been a staunch Obama defender.

The New York Times reported on the murders and mentioned Hicks’ Atheism, but not his politics. CNN did the same, as did The Washington Post.

Yet even a passive look at his Facebook page reveals Hicks as not only a rabid Atheist, but a passionate Progressive and Democrat supporter..

A review of the Facebook page of the man charged in these murders, the murderer Craig Stephen Hicks, shows a consistent theme of anti-religion and Democrat causes.

Included among his Facebook “LIKES” are the President Obama, Nancy Pelosi, the Huffington Post, Rachel Maddow, the Southern Poverty Law Center, Freedom from Religion Foundation, Untied Atheist of America, Militant Atheism for the Soul, Anti-Theists, Activist Atheists Fighting Religion, Gay Marriage groups, and a host of anti-Conservative, anti-Tea Party pages.

In other words, he was a true supporter of the Liberal Left. Yes, he drank the Kool Aide! Obama would be proud of this jerk, he believes everything he is told by the Left.

And how about calls for gun control for those nasty Assault Rifles which the Liberal Left sees in every shooting? Well, there are reasons the Left-Wing Media and Democrats in general aren't using this to call for a more gun control.

First of all, the murderer Craig Stephens Hicks is a Radical Left-Wing Progressive, a Democrat, and as the media wants us to believe -- one of their own is incapable of such execution style murders.

Yes, the fact that this Atheist executed these three execution style is the second reason why the Left doesn't want to call for more gun control. That and the fact that Hicks didn't use an Assault Rifle and instead used a simple .38 caliber pistol to shoot each of his victims at close range in the head does lend them the ammo the Left needs to call for more restrictions and regulations..

The killer Hicks posted this along with the picture above on Facebook, "Yes, that is 1 pound 5.1 ounces for my loaded 38 revolver, its holster, and five extra rounds in a speedloader."

Hicks also posted many anti-Christian photos supporting Atheism. After looking at his Facebook page, I really believe that this was indeed a Religious Hate Crime and not just a spontaneous act.

His hatred for Christians is only matched by his hatred for all other religions. Reading his Facebook page, I'm very surprised he didn't kill Christians instead of those Muslims young folks. But then again, I do believe he was just one more wacked out Liberal on the edge and the tipping point was a parking stall of all things.

Given the fact that he murdered three people in cold-blood, it is worth noting that his Facebook cover photo is quite ironic.

Screenshot 2015-02-11 at 8

It is a sorry commentary on the Mainstream News when they would rather drop a story instead of chase it down to find out the truth of why it took place, especially when the reason they refuse to chase down the truth is that it conflicts with their own sense of who is to blame for the ills of the world.

It is a sorry fact that Hicks’ Facebook page gives any crime reporter, any law enforcement agency, the motive as to why Hicks did what he did. As an Atheist, a Far-Left Progressive, a Democrat, he sees religion as the enemy.

And yes, his Liberal politics are being ignored by the New York Times, the Washington Post, CNN, and the others Liberal Mainstream News agencies such as ABC, CBS, NBC, and MSNBC.

The news report from Reuters fails to mention the victims’ religion and makes no mention whatsoever of Hicks’ atheism or far-left wing political ideology.

This is a fine example of Liberal Media hypocrisy at its finest.

And yes, that's just how I see it.

Keeping It Simple -- Political Correctness & Muslims

By Terry McGahey

Many folks in this country have bought into this Political Correctness ideal which is doing nothing but to help ruin this country.

And when it comes to the Muslim religion, Political Correctness has run rampant within some of our own people who truly don't understand how dangerous this religion is by burying their heads in the sand like ostriches.

In my opinion Political Correctness is nothing more than an assault upon our First Amendment rights which guarantees our right to free speech. Think about it, you can't say this, you can't say that. If that's not an assault on freedom of speech, then what is it?

I have heard this religion called the Religion of Peace. Again, in my opinion, how can anyone believe such an out and out lie?

In the Koran, there are at least 109 verses which tell Muslims to go to war with the non-believers as to implement Islamic rule. Some of these verses are very graphic, commanding that heads and fingers be cut off, and to kill the infidels where ever they may hide.

Muslims who do not join in the fight are called hypocrites, and Allah states that these Muslims will basically go to Hell. Yep, a religion of peace!

Now, lets just take a look at the Obama administration.

This so-called president of ours has appointed some Muslims to government positions. This so called president of ours will do nothing to secure our borders, which allows these people who hate us to cross into our country freely. This so-called president of ours refuses to call it like it is, Muslims want to rule the world under Sharia law which subjugates it's citizens.

In this old boys opinion, this so-called president of ours should be thrown out of office before he can do any more damage to our country period!

I'll tell you another thing that gets to me. We call these folks who were born here in the U.S., but yet leave to fight with ISIS and other groups, Americans. These people are not Americans! Being an American means much more than just being born here. A true American believes in our Constitution.

Some people may not agree with the whole document, but if you truly are an American who believes in this country, you must stand up for the others who do believe in the parts of it you may not.

Personally, I don't like what a lot of people have to say about different subjects, but the First Amendment gives them that right and I stand up for their right to do so, unlike the far left progressive liberals who only want their side heard while trying to shout down any one who disagrees with them.

Some folks may not agree with the whole document but the way I see it is you either believe in, or at least support our constitution or go live in a country that suits your beliefs the best.

Example, if you don't believe in owning a gun that's fine but as a true American you should stand up for the rights of others to own one should they choose to do so, unlike many of the idiots, not all, in Hollywood who I do not consider true Americans.

Our Constitution is what has made this country the great country that it is. One other thing, please, lets no longer call those people who leave here to join ISIS and others, Americans, The better word would be traitors!

In my opinion, that's keeping it simple!

SLAUGHTERED, The Tombstone Epitaph, January 17th, 1881

Brutal Murder of an Upright Citizen at Charleston By a Desperado

Again, the bloody hand of a murderer has been raised against a peaceable citizen; again the law is scoffed at and Justice derided. Yesterday's sun rose bright and cheerful over our neighboring village of Charleston, mellowing the crisp night air with its rays.

Once more her toilers began their daily avocations with renewed energy, little dreaming of the damnable deed that, in the glowing light of noonday, was to await one of their number.

Sometime since the cabin of Mr. W.P. Schneider, chief engineer of the Corbin Mill, was entered and robbed of several articles including some clothing.

Circumstances pointed very strongly to two parties, one of whom is so well known by the cognomen of "Johnny-Behind-the-Deuce" that we were unable last night to obtain his real name, but direct proof not being sufficient, no arrest was made.

Yesterday at noon Mr. Schneider left his duties and went to a restaurant where he was accustomed to taking his meals, and on entering approached the stove and, noticing a friend standing by, entered into conversation.

Having just left the heated engine room the air without felt cool which brought from Mr. S. a remark to that effect. "Johnny-Behind-the-Deuce" who was also in the room,. Then said, "I thought you never got cold." Not desiring to have anything to do with one of his character, Mr. Schneider turned and said, "I was not talking to you, sir."

This raised the lurking devil in the diminutive heart of "J-B-the-D," who blurted out, "G-d d-n you I'll shoot you when you come out," and left the room. After eating his dinner Mr. Schneider passed out the door, and was proceeding to the mill, when, true to his promise, the lurking fiend, who had secreted himself with hell in his heart and death in his mind, drew deadly aim and dropped his victim dead in his tracks.

Immediately after the shooting the following telegrams were sent to Mr. Richard Gird, the superintendent, who was in the mine here at the time:

Charleston, Jan. 14, 1:30 p.m.

To Richard Gird: Schneider has just been killed by a gambler; no provocation. Cowboys are preparing to take him out of custody. We need fifty well armed men.

Charleston, Jan. 14, 1:35 p.m.

To Richard Gird: Prisoner has just gone to Tombstone. Try and head him off and bring him back.

Charleston, Jan. 14, 1:50 p.m.

To Richard Gird: Burnett has telegraphed to the officers who have the murderer in charge to bring him back to appear at inquest. See that he is brought back.

Considerable delay occurred in getting these dispatches to Mr. Gird, who at the time was in the mine, and just where was not known; but as soon as he received it, prompt action was taken, and a number of the miners were ordered to report to the officers, to resist any attempted rescue of the prisoner.

Owing to some delay in delivery at the office of the company, and during this time the murderer was flying over the road toward the city, reaching the corner of Fifth and Allen a few minutes after the dispatches had beer read.

It is asserted that the officers, fearing pursuit, sent the murderer, who was on horseback, on ahead. However, this may be, it is certain that he came in ahead, his horse reeking with sweat, and, dismounting in front of Vogan's saloon asked for protection, acknowledging that he had killed his man.

In a few minutes Allen street was jammed with an excited crowd, rapidly augmented by scores from all directions.

By this time Marshal Sippy, realizing the situation at once, in the light of the repeated murders that have been committed and the ultimate liberty of the offenders, had attempt on the part of the crowd to lynch the prisoner; but feeling that no guard would be strong enough to resist a justly enraged public long, procured a light wagon in which the prisoner was placed, guarded by himself, Virgil Earp and Deputy Sheriff Behan, assisted by a strong posse will armed.

Moved down the street, closely followed by the throng, a halt was made and rifles leveled on the advancing citizens, several of whom were armed with rifles and shotguns.

At this juncture, a well know individual with more averdupois than brains, called to the officers to turn loose and fire in the crowd. But Marshal Sippy's sound judgment prevented any such outbreak as would have been the certain result, and cool as an iceberg he held the crowd in check.

No one who was a witness of yesterday's proceedings can doubt that but for his presence, blood would have flown freely. The posse following would not have been considered; but, bowing to the majesty of the law, the crowd subsided and the wagon proceeded on its way to Benson with the prisoner, who by daylight this morning was lodged in the Tucson jail.

-- end of article.

Editor's Note:

Johnny-Behind-the-Deuce
As most of my regular readers know, I love old newspapers, diaries, journals, courthouse records, and the like. I admire that folks back then wrote down everything, and I do mean everything.

From small newspapers like the ones up here in my area of the California Gold Country which listed the comings and goings of everyone, yes sort of like gossip, to the big city newspapers which reported on the same while also covering more of the national news, folks back in the day wrote about a great more than most think they did.

I am amazed at out of control wagons, women visiting the wives of other miners, the accidental deaths, the bodies found along side a road, the notations of who visited who for just a few days.

Newspapers, diaries, journals, and courthouse records clear up who was and wasn't somewhere, who really did things that others got credit for, and verifies stories and tall tales.

From the truth about where Wyatt Earp really was when he said he was buffalo hunting -- yes he was arrested as a pimp 2,000 miles from where he said he was -- to finding out that some of the legends had a lot more reputation than they deserved as in the case of Doc Holliday, records work against their brag and boast and show folks to be who they really were.

The above was in The Tombstone Epitaph on January 17th, 1881.

Wyatt Earp wasn't even mentioned. It's true. I can't find any record of Wyatt Earp's claim that he pulled out a shotgun on a lynch mob and held them off.

Michael "Mike" O'Rourke (1862–1882), aka "Johnny O'Rourke" or "Johnny-Behind-the-Deuce", was a professional gambler. On that day, "Johnny-Behind-the-Deuce" escaped from the Tucson jail and was never recaptured.

NBC's Brian Williams guilty of Stolen Valor?

I've received some pretty interesting mail pertaining to my life-changing experiences, and how NBC's Brian Williams lied about being fired upon -- then said he actually "misremembered" what really took place.

Some have written me asking if what Williams did by repeating this yarn over and over again is the same as those who put on a uniform of a military branch they were never in, called Stolen Valor?

And frankly, I guess it could be the same. After all, there are civilians who have never been in the military who dress up and wear ribbons and medals that they obviously could have never earned. They are lying to people around them.

One reader wrote to ask if all who have had such experiences remember them so clearly? My answer is I don't know if "all" do.

I can tell you, my readers, that rape victims for example, and yes Veterans with PTSD, certainly do remember things more accurately, more clearing, even when they don't want to. Life-changing events are like that.

Below is an great example of a man who remembered exactly what he went through 74 years ago. This man's name is Joe Langdell.

Yesterday, February 5th, 2014, retired Lt. Cmdr. Joe Langdell passed away at the age of 100.

Yes, it is said that Joe Langdell was known for the World War II stories that he told. Yes, what he saw was seared into his memory.

While there are some war stories that are hard to swallow simply because of the source such as with NBC's Brian Williams, Joe Langdell was extremely qualified and didn't have to stretch a story.

Fact is, Joe Langdell was on shore and actually watched his ship, the battleship USS Arizona, sank during the December 7th, 1941, surprise attack on Pearl Harbor by the nation of Japan.

At 100 years old, Cmdr. Langdell was Yuba City's last Pearl Harbor survivor.

People say he had an outgoing personality, that he was a fixture in Marysville's annual Veterans Day parade, and had an affinity recounting the historic attack.

He had been living at The Fountains care facility in Yuba City.

"He talked to anybody about it," said John Langdell of Spearfish, S.D., one of his two sons. "He relished being the center of attention. That was part of his makeup." said his son Ted Langdell, who lives in Marysville. "I guess you might say he was creating an endearing character over there."

Joe Langdell's death came nearly four months after his 100th birthday. Ted Langdell was there holding his hand when he passed away.

Riding in a wheelchair, Joe Langdell took part in November's annual Veterans Day Parade in downtown Marysville. His presence in the parade became a focal point for the yearly event.

John Langdell said his father's remains will be interred at the site of the USS Arizona, the ship on which he served, next Dec. 7. A local public memorial service will likely be held in April, he said.

Don Schrader, a local veterans advocate and a board member of the Museum of Forgotten Warriors in Yuba County, noted Langdell visited the museum from time to time.

"He went to the parades and always wore his uniform," Schrader said. "It's the passing of an era. It is unfortunate, but we are losing those guys."

Schrader also noted that Langdell seemed to take pleasure in letting people know about his wartime experiences. "I think he enjoyed it greatly, and I think he was very proud of it. And he should have been."

"It certainly was the focal point of his service in the Navy and the attack on Pearl Harbor was the center of his life," John Langdell said of his father. "He took pride in it."

Back on Decemmber 7th, 1941, Joe Langdell was a 28 year old officer asleep on Ford Island when the attack happened. He watched helplessly from shore as his ship, the USS Arizona, sank. With her, all toll 1,177 sailors aboard were lost.

Retiring as a Lieutenant Commander (Lt. Cmdr.), Joe Langdell is believed to be the last surviving officer assigned at that time to the USS Arizona. He was recently one of only seven survivors from the ship.

Joe Langdell said that he likely would have been killed if he had been on board the Arizona when it was attacked.

"Saw it sink? Hell, yes," he said in 2009. "I was right there on shore, as close as you could get while keeping out of the bomb range."

Langdell helped other men wade to shore and get to the hospital. Later he was one of the men to go with 15 others who had sheets and pillowcases to gather all the bodies above the waterline.

"You'll always remember it," Joe Langdell said at the time. "It's a milestone in your life — one of the most important battles in the world, in world history, and I've got my medals to tell about it."

Born Oct. 12, 1914, in Wilton, N.H., Joe Langdell was employed as a salesman after the war and, with his wife, sought out the warmer California climate, first in the Bay Area and later in Yuba City. He was a former owner of the Village Mart store in Yuba County.

Yes, retired Lt. Cmdr. Joe Langdell, the oldest living survivor from the USS Arizona, passed away at the age of 100.

Thank you Sir! Thank you for your service to our country. Thank you for being there to meet the call.

Cmdr. Langdell requested that his ashes be interred with his fellow shipmates inside the USS Arizona, which will take place on December 7th.

Please join me in offering a prayer for Retired Lt. Cmdr. Joe Langdell, for his loved ones, and for all the men and women who serve throughout the world.

And please, let's not forget to thank God for the service of those who have given their lives to preserve and protect our freedom. May God bless them all.

Frankly, while it makes me angry, I also feel sort of sorry for those folks out there like NBC's Brian Williams who say they "misremember" or lie about something that would truly be a life-changing event, something that sears itself into your memory.

Asto my reader's question whether NBC's Brian Williams is guilty of Stolen Valor? Well, that is a term applied to people who falsely claim military service they did not perform, experiences that never happened, and other tales of military daring that only exist in their minds.

Ask yourself if Williams fills that definition? I think it is justifiable for people to say he is.

Cmdr. Langdell didn't have to worry about that because he lived it.

And yes, that's just the way I see it.

NBC's Brian Williams caught in Lie and Apologizes

I find that I'm becoming more and more forgetful as to how some things happened exactly the way they did. And yes, especially as I get older.

But frankly, there are things that I remember as if they took place yesterday - even though they happened 40 years ago.

Whether it was carrying a little girl off a helicopter as a young Marine during the evacuations of Saigon in 1975, or seeing a woman shot in the head by local Filipino Constabulary in the streets of Olongapo in the middle of the night,. I find truly life-changing events very memorable.

I remember being little too drunk and found myself in town after the curfew. It was a time when the local Constabulary ruled with an iron fist.

I saw the deuce-and-a-half  rumble down from the end of the long main street. The police were shaking doors to make sure all was locked up during the Martial Law curfew that took place at midnight.

Prior to midnight the streets were busy with sailors and Marines heading back to the base there at Subic Bay, or heading to some young gals home for the night.

Since I had left a little too late to get back to the base, the gate across to Shit River bridge had just closed and the streets were deserted. When I saw the Constabulary start coming down the street and that machinegun on the top of that truck, I decided to try a door or two to get off the street.

The Constabulary had a reputation of shooting first and asking questions later -- if they felt like it at all.

As I was trying to force a door open, it suddenly opened and an old man pulled me inside. He walked me up stairs and took me to a room to stay in for the night. The experienced had sobered me up pretty good so I stayed there. I found a chair and closed my eyes for a few hours of sleep until curfew was lifted.

A few hours later, I heard some screaming and shouting outside in the street. When I opened the louvered shutters to see what was going on. A few Constabulary was questioning a woman behind a truck. She was shouting at them shaking her head no, and they were shouting at her when all of a sudden an officer reaches over to her and shoots her in the head.

She fell to the ground, but soon they picked her up and placed her in the back of the truck and drove off. Yes, I remember that well.

A few months later, I remember having an M16 pointing in my face while I knelt with my hands behind my head that day in the Philippines when the local Constabulary, yes the Police, stopped the civilian bus that I was on. It is very memorable.

I can recall the Constabulary pulling everyone including the women and crying children off the Liberty Bus.

I can remember the pushing and shoving, the search, them robbing me of the few dollars I had on me. Them shouting in Tagalog at us men to get down on our knees, the women and children were moved away to the other side of the bus.

I remember feeling like a like POW, Prisoner of War, as they ordered us down on our knees and us to clasp our hands behind our heads.

I remember getting kicked in the back. And when I didn't go down, one Constabulary tapped the barrel of his rifle in the back of my head. I still believe he was trying to push me forward but I wouldn't go face first into the mud.

I remember one Constabulary tapping my forehead with the muzzle of his rifle. I remember thinking that I wanted to get in just one punch, just one hit. I remember thinking that I could take him out before they killed me. I figured killing one of them before they killed me would make it alright.

I remember them arguing behind me, always they spoke Tagalog. Then they beat the driver, and then they pulled another man up off his knees and into the bush behind us. After a lot of shouting, I remember closing my eyes when I heard two shots from behind me.

I remember hearing the police walking back without him. I remember them shouting at us to go and pointed down the road. I remember how we all started walking to the nearest town and simply left the bus to the police to sack if they wanted to. Yes, that was 1975.

Another life-changing event was when a black thug pointed a pistol at me, and jerking on the empty pistol's trigger a few times before realizing it was empty.

When I heard the shots, I was sitting in my Security vehicle. Yes, he wanted to shot me after he just shot his friend in the head 5 times.

That was in Oakland, California, around 2am right outside a Stop 'N Go store on 23rd and Foothill back in 1980. It was after that when I decided to carry a gun -- legal or not.

Yes, that was a lot of years ago. All three were life-changing events. And yes, I remember it well probably because they were so stressful.

Thankfully, most people have very few truly life-changing events. So yes, granted while we sometimes we wish we didn't remember them so vividly, I believe we remember more than we want to sometimes..

To me, memories are lessons in life coming back to remind us of things we've learned. And frankly, whether it's a memory dealing with unfaithfulness and betrayal in a relationship, or whether it's right and wrong by those in position of authority, and whether I like it or not, I do remember the big events that had a great deal of impact on me.

Maybe that's why I'm surprised when someone says they don't remember or "misremember" the circumstances of being shot at or not? After all, it is something that is pretty hard to forget.

NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams admitted that he was not aboard a helicopter hit and forced down by RPG fire during the invasion of Iraq in 2003.

It's something that some call a "lie" that he has repeated for years.

The NBC online archive shows the network broadcast a news story on March 26, 2003, with the headline:

“Target Iraq: Helicopter NBC’s Brian Williams Was Riding In Comes Under Fire.”

Contrary to Williams' past claims that he was traveling in a Chinook helicopter that was hit by two rockets and small arms fire on March 24, 2003, he arrived at the scene in a separate helicopter about an hour later.

Fact is that he was never in any danger, and the Chinook that took fire, one of three in its formation, was able to make an emergency landing with no casualties.

"I want to apologize," Williams said on Wednesday night's broadcast of NBC Nightly News. "I said I was traveling in an aircraft that was hit by RPG fire. I was instead in a following aircraft."

Williams, 55, most recently told the story during NBC coverage of a tribute to a retired command sergeant major at a New York Rangers hockey game.

“The story actually started with a terrible moment a dozen years back during the invasion of Iraq when the helicopter we were traveling in was forced down after being hit by an RPG,” Williams said on the broadcast.

“Our traveling NBC News team was rescued, surrounded and kept alive by an armor mechanized platoon from the U.S. Army 3rd Infantry.”

The Stars and Stripes, a newspaper that covers the United States Armed Forces, first reported the admission.

Williams disputed claims to the newspaper that his original report was inaccurate, saying that he originally reported that he was in another helicopter but that he had confused the events.

“I would not have chosen to make this mistake,” Williams told the newspaper. “I don’t know what screwed up in my mind that caused me to conflate one aircraft with another.”

In a 2008 blog post, Williams said he was flying in a Chinook helicopter as part of a four-chopper formation, and all four took fire.

But Sgt. 1st Class Joseph Miller, who was the flight engineer on the aircraft that carried the journalists, told Stars and Stripes that their helicopter "never came under direct enemy fire."

Several service members said they recall NBC reporting Williams was aboard the aircraft that was attacked, despite the claim being false.

Mike O’Keeffe, who was a door gunner on the damaged Chinook, told The Stars and Stripes the incident has bothered him since he and others first saw the original report.

“Over the years it faded,” he said, “and then to see it last week it was — I can’t believe he is still telling this false narrative.”
Williams disputed Wednesday claims the initial reports were inaccurate, saying he originally reported he was in another helicopter but later confused the events.

In a 2008 NBC blog post with his byline, he wrote that the “Chinook helicopter flying in front of ours (from the 101st Airborne) took an RPG to the rear rotor.”

O’Keeffe said the incident has bothered him since he and others first saw the original report after returning to Kuwait. “Over the years it faded,” he said, “and then to see it last week it was — I can’t believe he is still telling this false narrative.”

So, would I forget if I were in a helicopter that was taking fire? No, I would not.

Would I "misremember" the circumstances of what took place when I was going through it? No.

Would I always remember how it took place? You bet I would.

Brian Williams can't remember a life threatening experience from 12 years ago, and I can recall a few from almost 40 years ago? Amazing!

Like it or not, most of us will remember when our lives are on the line. Most of us will not forget the truth of what took place. And if it did happen, most of us wouldn't "misremember" it because we would have lived it instead of lie about it.

And yes, that's just the way I see it.

Burger King facing Horse Meat Scandal in Great Britain

Yes this has been going on in the Great Britain, the United Kingdom!

Burger King has admitted it has been selling burgers containing horse meat recent denials.

In the United Kingdom, the fast food chain has more than 500 outlets, and had earlier given a number of statements stating "absolute assurances" that its products were not involved. However, new tests have revealed these Burger King's guarantees were incorrect.

Burger King has faced allegations of orchestrating a cover-up of its links to the Horse Meat Scandal in order to give it time to find an alternative supplier.

Now the fast food giant has admitted selling burgers containing horse meat in the Great Britain. .

It also raises serious questions about whether or not the food company, which sells around one million burgers a week in the UK, has any real knowledge what goes into its products?

The horse meat contaminated burgers were made by the Irish-based processing company, Silvercrest, which is part the ABP Foods Group.

The same company also made tainted burgers for Tesco, Asda and the Co-op, among others.

It is currently shipping in tens of thousands of burgers from suppliers in Germany and Italy in order to meet demand at its UK outlets.

The management at Silvercrest is known to have been using a series of non-approved ingredients in their burgers for a range of household name brands. These included meat off-cuts, including horse, that were imported in large frozen blocks from Poland.

The contamination with horse meat has been going on since May 2014 and potentially longer, according to evidence this week.

Tonight Burger King abandoned its earlier denials, saying: "Four samples recently taken from the Silvercrest plant have shown the presence of very small trace levels of equine DNA" Yes, horse meat.

The contamination scandal was first triggered two weeks ago, with the Food Safety Authority of Ireland revealed it had found horse meat in burgers sold in Ireland and the UK.

Burgers were pulled off the shelves at Tesco after the supermarket discovered that there were traces of horse meat in their products

Tesco Everyday Value beefburgers that were removed from shelves at Tesco after they were found to contain 29 per cent horse meat

Dalepak also makes burgers for Waitrose and Sainsbury’s, which both insist that their burgers are clear of contamination.

The processing company is a subsidiary of the Irish company, ABP Food Group, which also owns a second burger manufacturing business, which is Silvercrest, in southern Ireland.

The company withdrew all of its frozen burgers from UK stores when the scandal first erupted two weeks ago as a precaution.

No, there is no word yet if horse meat is being used in Burger Kings here in the United States.

For me, I  believe there should be inspections to determine if horse meat, even if it's just so-called "traces", are being used in burgers here. If so, we need to know so we can shut them down!

And yes, that's just the way I see it.
