That's not entirely true. There were other things that brought about the Civil War such as politics and religion. It was brother against brother. Father against son. Friend against friend. And let's not forget the thirteen Confederate States Of America. Florida, Georgia, Mississippi, Alabama, Texas, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Arkansas, Louisiana, Virginia, Kentucky, and Missouri. In the end, however, the Union won and the South lost. And if you were on the losing side, you lost almost everything. There were some in the South who refused to believe that the war was over. They went on a bloody campaign against the North and everyone who fought for the Union. Some of them even went on to join the Ku Klux Klan. It was a war like no other. And one that we shall never see again. But we will always remember it. For it was a time where we were once divided and then reunited. A war that will live in history. And a very important part at that. May the history of the Civil War live on forever. And may the fallen rest in peace for they have not died in vain. Glory, Glory, Hallelujah. The truth is marching on.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2632055767270986594.post-74005643231193134972021-06-06T21:05:01.478-07:002021-06-06T21:05:01.478-07:00Well done, Tom!Well done, Tom!The Old Vikinghttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06924233218205189537noreply@blogger.com
