Nowadays if a kid gets bullied, they will want to shoot up the school or send a threatening letter to the school telling them that they better prepare for war. Or let's say that the student failed a math test. That might also be the reason. Anything can easily upset the potential shooter so we must be on our guard. If he or she decides to shoot 20 or 30 people, then we have to evacuate immediately. Then the cops have to be called in because there's a shooter within the building. The school gets put on lockdown. Then, one or two things will happen. One, they arrest the shooter. Or two, they shoot the suspect. Either way, it's never good. But there IS a way to prevent it. With mental health counseling and a couple of armed staff members. And while you're at it, hire some war veterans to teach some of your classes. Have them say things like, "I was in Korea. I know what to do." Or give lectures on how not to behave. That'll teach 'em. Anything to prevent further school shootings would be deeply appreciated. But don't ask me to help. I'm busy and can't play God. Your friend as always, Benny. P.S. Hope you're having fun in Glencoe.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
