I don't have...Let's get one thing straight. I don't have anything against the Confederate flag. I used to have one myself. But here lately, these "snowflakes" all say that it's a symbol of hatred and fear. I disagree. And I'll tell you why. The red represents the blood that our Southern brothers shed in order to protect the once divided United States of America. The blue represents the tears that are shed in remembrance of the fallen Confederates who gave up their lives for the South. And the white represents the many graves of the fallen that fell during the ultimate battle. And it's no different from any other flag. So how dare you tell me it's a symbol of hatred? Is you swastika any different from the Star of David? Is your Klansman's robe any better than a bed sheet? Is your Nazi salute any different from Amazing Grace? Because I'll tell you this. There are a lot of ignorant fools like you that use the Confederate flag as a sign of fear and hatred only for Blacks and Jews. Those are the only two groups I can think of that have a problem with the Confederate flag. And I'm not about to offend them. You may fly the flag, but sometimes when you do you fly it for all the wrong reasons. You're not supposed to intimidate people with it. You're supposed to show your Southern pride. And you can't do it when certain groups of people are mad at you. It's supposed to be a symbol of heritage not hate. So please remember. However you use the flag is however you use it. So no, I don't have a problem with the flag. It's the way it's used. But in the end, we can all come to a somber, yet logical conclusion. The truth is marching on. Even if that truth is hurtful to some. God Bless America.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
