From the colonial era to now people have harvested crops for the winter and fed their families while trying to live a good life. And that way of life is as rugged as ever. But as rugged as it may seem, it has many benefits. The cows give milk and the corn makes for one tasty snack you can enjoy at the movies. And the flour and lard can be used for homemade biscuits.
