RANDOM SHOTS! Judges Battle Obama, Grandmothers with Guns, Hawaii Nuts, Viagra, and More!

FIRST SHOT!

Judges order Justice Department to clarify Obama's remarks on Judicial Authority

On April 3rd, a  Federal Appeals Court struck back at President Obama's efforts to try to intimidate the Supreme Court by so-called "cautioning" the Justices against overturning the health care overhaul.

Obama actually had the arrogance to "warn" them that such an action would be "unprecedented."

A three Judge panel for the 5th Circuit Court of Appeals on Tuesday ordered the Justice Department to explain by April 5th as to whether or not the Obama administration understands that Judges do indeed have the power to strike down a Federal law when it is unconstitutional.

One justice in particular chided the Obama for what he said was being perceived as a "challenge" to judicial authority - referring directly to Obama's latest comments about the Supreme Court's review of the health care case.

The testy exchange played out during a hearing over a separate ObamaCare challenge. It signaled a war between the Executive and Judicial branches of the Federal government.

"Does the Department of Justice recognize that federal courts have the authority in appropriate circumstances to strike federal statutes because of one or more constitutional infirmities?" Judge Jerry Smith asked at the hearing.

Justice Department attorney Dana Lydia Kaersvang answered "yes" to that question.

Judge Smith also made clear during that exchange that he was "referring to statements by the President in the past few days to the effect ... that it is somehow inappropriate for what he termed 'unelected' judges to strike acts of Congress."

"That has troubled a number of people who have read it as somehow a challenge to the Federal courts or to their authority," Judge Smith said. "And that's not a small matter."

Judge Smith ordered a response from the department within 48 hours. The related letter from the court, obtained by Fox News, instructed the Justice Department to provide an explanation of "no less than three pages, single spaced" by noon on April 5th.

The Justice Department had no comment when asked about the exchange. And White House Press Secretary Jay Carney, though, told Fox News that there's no dispute from the administration regarding the courts' authority to strike down laws.

"Of course we believe that the Supreme Court has, and the courts have, as their duty and responsibility the ability of striking down laws as unconstitutional," Carney said Tuesday.

However, and here comes the spin from Carney, he said, the President was specifically referring to "the precedent under the Commerce Clause" regarding a legislature's ability to address "challenges to our national economy."

That is a lie!

President Obama said nothing of the sort. He did in fact say, "I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress."

On Monday, Obama arrogantly said, "And I'd just remind Conservative Commentators that for years what we've heard is the biggest problem on the bench was Judicial Activism or a lack of Judicial Restraint, that an unelected group of people would somehow overturn a duly constituted and passed law."

Obama reiterated his stance on Tuesday, saying the court has traditionally shown "deference" to Congress and that "the burden is on those who would overturn a law like this."

Carney said that Obama was expressing the point that on national economic challenges, "there should be due deference paid as a matter of precedent to our democratically elected officials."

That's so much horsespit to you just gots to laugh at it when they try to tell you what you heard with your own ears is really something different than what was said.

Ronald Reagan coined the term political "spin" - which is understood to mean spin is when a politician or their staff decided that they might not agree with something said (for example) and they in turn will put their distinctive point of view, emphasis, or interpretation on something that has either taken place or has been said - no matter how turned around it is.

But then again, I guess that's what Obama's staff does best. They do do a great job providing an interpretation of a statement or event in a way meant to sway public opinion - even if it's a false, incorrect, or outright lie.

SECOND SHOT!

Sharp-shooting Grandmas issue Challenge

A report out of Fairbanks, Alaska, is about three "Alaska Grandmas" are encouraging people to head to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game’s shooting range for the "Alaska Grandma Safe Shootin’ Challenge".

Grandmothers Dody Maki, Phyllis Trickey and Wynola Possenti are the women behind the challenge, which tests a shooter's prowess in hunting, pistol marksmanship and rifle shooting, while of course promoting gun safety - and a fun time at the range.

A commercial of the event at a local shooting range has been on local television, and, yes, even YouTube. The advertisement concludes with grandma Dody Maki's unmistakable laugh.

The commercial has done what it has set out to do and has drawn more people to the ADFG shooting range off of College Road. But now, for folks interested in getting in on the fun, there are only a couple of days left to enter the challenge which began back in December.

John Wyman, project director at the department’s range, said that the challenge was created to spotlight the facility and encourage gun safety.

Dody Maki, Phyllis Trickey and Wynola Possenti are the grandmas behind the challenge. Wyman said that the grandmas are great spokeswomen for the challenge because they are safe shooters. They invite friends to the range, are active outdoors, and are also successful hunters, he said.

"They are really good ambassadors," he said. "We thought they would be the perfect spokes-ladies."

Wynola Possenti began shooting long ago but relied on her husband’s help. When he passed away, she found it was much different shooting on her own. Refreshing her knowledge about handling keeps her going, she said.

Dody Maki has been shooting since she was in her 20s, but started going to the range only within the past 10 years. She is the sharpshooter of the grandmas - having hit the bull’s eye of a rapid-fire pistol target 10 times.

Phyllis Trickey said the range is important to her and her family. Some of her grandchildren have taken courses in gun safety, and one attended the range’s conservation camp in the summer. She started going to the range herself after taking a gun safety course, which helped her confidence in shooting, she said.

"I can’t believe how many people still don’t know about the range here," she said.

The actual challenge is two-fold, Wyman explained. Part of it is just getting people more familiar with the range and more involved in its safety courses so that they can do more things outdoors comfortably.

The course of fire is the challenging part. Three targets test prowess in hunting, pistol marksmanship and rifle shooting. Top scorers are kept in the records for the grand finale.

On Sunday, the top 10 shooters, plus a few more, will be invited to the final shoot-off at 4 p.m. The grand prize winner will receive a brand new Ruger .22 caliber pistol from Frontier Outfitters, a $50 gift certificate from Papa John’s Pizza, and an all-summer range pass to the shooting range.

Entrants to the competition should provide their own firearms, a .22 pistol and .22 rifle, ammunition, and must pay for their own lane time. They must also have completed the range orientation and safety briefing and have a range identification number.

The event is open to all safe and responsible shooters, ages 10 and older. The range is open each day of the final days of the challenge.

Wyman encourages everyone to come. "It’s not just for grandmas, you know," Wyman said.

No, it's not. In fact it’s really aimed at teaching safe shooting for all.

So what's better then to go out to the range and plink away with your .22 and enjoy the outdoors and the camaraderie. I know for me, it sounds like pure fun!

THIRD SHOT!

Three Arrested For Cattle Rustling In New Mexico

In Carlsbad, New Mexico, the police have arrested three men after a deputy Sheriff  pulled their car over and found a 220-pound calf in the backseat of their car.

The Carlsbad Current Argus reports that the men are accused of cattle rustling. They were jailed on charges of suspicion of larceny of livestock, conspiracy, lack of a bill of sale and exporting livestock. The three are being held at the Luna County Detention Center.

Luna County sheriff's office says a deputy saw the calf in the backseat with one of the alleged thieves after the deputy pulled over their Honda Civic.

Yes, that's right, they had 3 men and a 220-pound calf in a Hondra Civic. They should've been arrested just for using a Honda Civic to steal cattle. Can you say idiots!

FOURTH SHOT!

Obama's Communist friend Bill Ayers says "I get up every morning thinking ... today I'm gonna end Capitalism!"

Bill Ayers, in a pep talk to a bunch of Occupy Wall Street protesters, said he wakes up every morning thinking about how he's going to end Capitalism.

Then acknowledged that he goes to bed "every night disappointed."

Bill Ayers is best known these days as being a close friend and confidant of President Obama. He was in fact the co-founder of the radical, Vietnam-era Leftist group called the Weather Underground.

The Weather Underground was an radical leftist group first organized in 1969.

The radical leftist group conducted a campaign of vicious bombings through the mid-1970s, including aiding the jailbreak and escape of Timothy Leary. In 1970 the group issued a "Declaration of a State of War" against the United States government, under the name "Weather Underground Organization" (WUO).

The bombing attacks targeted government buildings, but also targeted several banks.

For the bombing of the United States Capitol on March 1, 1971, they issued a communique saying it was "in protest of the U.S. invasion of Laos."

For the bombing of the Pentagon on May 19, 1972, they stated it was "in retaliation for the U.S. bombing raid in Hanoi."

For the January 29, 1975 bombing of the United States Department of State building, they stated it was "in response to escalation in Vietnam."

Do you see the same pattern that I see?

It was all just a bunch of lame excuses to hurt, maim, and kill innocent bystanders because those jerks were dumb enough to think it's smart to worship at the alter of totalitarian Communism.

Their founding document called for a "White Fighting Force" to be allied with the "Black Liberation Movement" and other radical movements to achieve "the destruction of U.S. imperialism and achieve a classless world: World Communism."

Sgt. Brian V. McDonnell
killed by Bill Ayers group
His group is known to have killed a Policeman and a Security Guard, and crippled another Police Officer.

It was on Feb. 16, 1970, Sgt. Brian V. McDonnell of the San Francisco Police Department was killed by shrapnel from an anti-personnel bomb planted on a window ledge at the force’s Park Station.
The pipe bomb was filled with heavy metal staples, nails, and lead bullet projectiles.

Another officer, Robert Fogarty, received serious wounds to his face and legs, and was partially blinded in the attack.

The Weathermen largely disintegrated after the United States reached a peace accord in Vietnam in 1973, which saw the general decline of what was called the New Left.

The New Left resurgence started with the election of Bill Clinton, picked up fervor during the Bush administration where their hate ran highest, and is now basking in the glow of having elected the first President with Socialist ideological leanings.

In a videotape, Bill Ayers was chatting up what was identified as an Occupy Union Square group this past week in New York City. In the tape, he told the crowd that he doesn't consider himself an optimist or a pessimist.

Rather, he said: "I get up every morning thinking, today I'm gonna make a difference. Today I'm gonna end Capitalism. Today I'm gonna make a revolution. I go to bed every night disappointed, but I'm back again tomorrow. That's the only way you can do it."

He some hypocrite, because that pep talk was coming from a guy who has made a lot of money in our Capitalist system working for Chicago University. Money that has send all three of his children to expensive schools and has bought him an expensive home. Money that was also given to Obama for his 2008 campaign.

Bill Ayers ties to President Obama goes back quite a few years, and it stirred up some trouble for Democratic candidate Obama when he was running in 2008. The two worked closely together on a charitable board starting in the mid-1990s.

In fact, they were such close associates that Bill Ayers once hosted a campaign event for Obama when he first ran for the Illinois Senate - which raised all sorts of money for Obama.

Bill Ayers hasn't done too bad for himself considering he's guy who hates America and loves the concept of Communism where the government owns everything and runs everything and is the master of all while the people are nothing but slaves chained to a life of tyranny - afraid and not free.

FIFTH SHOT!

Man arrested in North Dakota for shocking Ex-Girlfriend with Cattle Prod

Bismarck police have arrested 37-year-old man Christopher Lee Martin of Bismarck was charged with aggravated assault-domestic violence and a variety of drug offenses.

Bismarck Police Lt. Mike McMerty says the woman told officers that Martin came to her home Sunday and claimed she had stolen $500 from him, and they also argued about a jacket.

A criminal complaint says Martin shocked his ex-girlfriend with a cattle prod  - leaving marks and causing pain. And yes, I've felt the shock that comes out of a cattle prod and it's not very funny.

Officers said they found a marijuana pipe near the man's vehicle, and a search discovered marijuana, methamphetamine and a meth pipe in the vehicle. The assault charge carries a maximum sentence of five years in prison and a $5,000 fine.

I guess losers are everywhere, it doesn't matter where you go. In this case the loser was so gay that he attacked his ex-girlfriend with a cattle prod which puts out an jolt of electricity that hurts like hell!

Sorry to say, but yes, there is a part of me that says someone should connect the Jerkweed to a 220 outlet and have someone flip the switch on and off a few hundred times. Maybe then he'd learn not to do such rotten nasty things to others - espeically women.

SIXTH SHOT!

Honolulu Judge restrains a crazed man with a choke-hold for causing a disturbance in his Court

In Honolulu, Hawaii, it got personal for Judge Lono Lee when a man by the name of Steven Michael Hauge jumped up onto his bench, breaking a flagpole bearing the state flag in the process.

District Judge Lono Lee knocked down Steven Michael Hauge and restrained him by putting Hauge in a choke-hold after the man caused a ruckus in Lee's courtroom.

Hauge had been going from courtroom to courtroom in the Honolulu District Court building screaming, State Sheriff Shawn Tsuha said. "He was quite upset about something," Tsuha said.

It was not clear why Hauge was even in the building. Court records show that Hauge has a criminal record dating to 1977 with more than 50 convictions on charges including, burglary, fraud and assault.

After Judge Lee restrained him with a choke-hold, Hauge was escorted out of the court and arrested and charged with disorderly conduct, obstruction of government operations and fourth-degree criminal property damage.

Tsuha said Hauge allegedly broke the flag's staff while swinging it. It must have been an interesting sight.

And no, I don't know what's going on in Hawaii these days - especially when I hear about a man accused of trying to bite a police officer in the place that's supposed to be "paradise".

An un-named 43-year-old man was arrested after police said that the nutcase tried to bite an officer in the face.

It happened in the Kalihi area just before 4:30 p.m., when the officer who was investigating a report of a domestic argument and was attempting to separate the suspect from his girlfriend. That's when, as the police reported, the suspect grabbed the officer and tried to bite him in his face.

The officer was injured during a brief struggle with the suspect. The suspect was subdued and arrested for assault against a law enforcement officer.

I don't think both of these nutcases got that memo that this is not exactly the "Aloha Spirit!"

LAST SHOT!

Viagra Strike in Italy means No Viagra, No Party!

A story out of Milan, Italy, is interesting to say the least.

Understanding that old Italian proverb, "A hard beginning makes a good ending,"  hospital pharmacists are threatening to cut Italian men off from their Viagra unless the government amends its economic plans to reform professions that have high entry barriers.

Markets with high entry barriers have few players and thus high profit margins, not good for the consumer. Markets with low entry barriers have lots of players and thus low profit margins, great for consumers.

Union official Loredana Vasselli said, pharmacists decided to focus the protest on Viagra because it is a sought-after drug whose absence "does not put patients' health at risk."

A major health risk of Viagra is sudden cardiac events, especially if an individual has experienced irregular heart rhythm or has suffered a heart attack or stroke in the 6 months prior to using Viagra. Some individuals with angina chest pain, or with either high or low blood pressure, or eye disorders, have suffered from hypertension, heart attack following use of Viagra .

Viagra is on of those drugs that do not put a patient's health at risk if he doesn't take it, but may if he does take it.

Pharmacists will stage a series of labor actions during April, culminating with the so-called "Viagra Strike" if their complaints are not redressed.

Hospital pharmacists, part of Italy's public health care system, say Italian Premier Mario Monti's economic liberalization plan is unfair because it gives private pharmacists preference for new licenses.

The reform that is making them unhappy calls for opening 5,000 new pharmacies. One very unhappy group of Union pharmacists protested outside of Parliament under the banner "No Viagra, No Party!"

So now, because of the "Viagra Strike", as the little blue pill's sales come to a halt in their country - Italian men could learn very soon what it feels like to go without their Viagra.

No telling how long the "Viagra Strike" will go on before the Italian government softens and bows to their demands.

And yes, that's the way it is.

RANDOM SHOTS! Obama Warns Supreme Court, Tiger Woods, California Hooker, and More!

FIRST SHOT!

Obama "warns" the Supreme Court of the United States

When I looked for it, it wasn't there. But I'm sure, if someone out there checked the definition of arrogence - they will most definitely find it beside a picture of Barack Husseing Obama.

President Obama talked down to the Supreme Court of the United States yesterday. It was regarding their look at Obama's monument to disaster fondly called Obama Care.

He actually had the arrogence to try ti intimidate the Supreme Court of the United States on Monday, warning the Justices not to overturn the new health care law that has 80% of the American people up in arms.

During a joint press conference with the leaders of Mexico and Canada, President Obama used what he described as "the language of conservatives" who fret about judicial activism, and actually questioning how an "unelected group of people" could overturn a law approved by Congress.

He actually said that!

According to Wikipedia, Obama "taught at the University of Chicago Law School for twelve years - as a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996, and as a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004 - teaching Constitutional Law.

Obama was supposedly a Constitutional Law Professor, so why doesn't he know how our Constitution works?

I think someone put things in his resume' that simply weren't true. For him to question how, as he put it, an "unelected group of people" could overturn a law approved by Congress - makes me wonder if he's dumber than I think he is.

From this statement, just like his not knowing how many states we have in the United States, I've come to the conclusione that he doesn't understand the fundalmentals of America, our structure, or our system of government works. I really believe that he does not know the role of the Supreme Court of the United States in the balance of power in our system of government.

Obama said, "I'm confident that the Supreme Court will not take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress."

This guy is either really stupid or just playing stupid thinking that people don't know better. Either way, someone, maybe some first year political science student, should remind the former Constitutional Law Professor who is now President until next January a small fact of history.

The Supreme Court of the United States has a long history of , as Obama put it, "overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress."

History is a great teacher. It has no political bias. In its pure form, it just presents the facts.

In this case, it teaches us that indeed the Supreme Court of the United States has a long history of overturning a law that was passed by Congress. The first time was 209 years ago!

Yes, it's true. In 1803, the case was Marbury v. Madison. That was the very first instance in which a law passed by Congress was declared "unconstitutional." The decision greatly expanded the power of the Court by establishing its right to overturn acts of Congress.

The idea that overturning a law passed by Congress is "an unprecedented, extraordinary step" is a lie that Obama is trying to get Americans to believe as true. Again, he has been caught lying to us. But I'm sure the Liberal Media won't report it as such.

The Supreme Court spent three days hearing arguments in four separate challenges to the health care law, which stands as President Obama's signature domestic policy accomplishment.

A central challenge is over the individual mandate which is the government requirement that would force - by way of fine or possible imprisonment - that all Americans buy health insurance.

Critics say the "government mandate" is unconstitutional, and that the federal government cannot force people to purchase something they might not want.

On Monday, Obama said that without such a mandate, the law would not have a mechanism to ensure those with pre-existing conditions would get health care.

"I'm confident that this will be upheld, because it should be upheld," said an arrogant Obama.

Republican lawmakers have started to slam Obama for his Supreme Court comments. Sen. Orrin Hatch, R-Utah, accused the president of misrepresenting the implications of a ruling against the law.

"It must be nice living in a fantasy world where every law you like is constitutional and every Supreme Court decision you don't is 'activist,'" he said in a statement.

"Many of us have been arguing for nearly three years that the federal government does not have the power to dictate individuals' purchasing decisions. After a national debate on the subject, more than two-thirds of Americans agree that the Obamacare insurance mandate is unconstitutional."

Then, at the press conference, Obama talked about economics as if he knew something about the subject.

During the press conference on Monday, which primarily focused on economic issues between Canada, the United States, and Mexico, Obama noted that trade among the three neighbors now tops $1 trillion a year.

But notable by its absence from the post-summit news conference in the Rose Garden was the controversial Keystone XL oil pipeline from Canada's oil sands in Alberta to the U.S. Gulf of Mexico.

Obama said no to the Keystone XL oil pipeline because he said that he didn't have enough time to examine it. The Keystone XL oil pipeline was to go into construction and have a dramatic effect on the price of gas at the pumps while also creating hundreds of thousands of great paying jobs across the country.

Some folks think it was only the on-site construction of the Keystone XL oil pipeline, but in fact it would have also included suppliers and manufactures across America.

Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper has voiced his disappointment with Obama's decision. And now, since the Obama decision to kill the Keystone XL oil pipeline, Prime Minister Stephen Harper has visited China in February to explore alternatives in their buying Canada's oil.

Canada has the world's third-largest oil reserves - more than 170 billion barrels - after Saudi Arabia and Venezuela, and daily production of 1.5 million barrels from the oil sands is expected to rise to 3.7 million by 2025.

Of course, the United States has larger oil reserves. We also have oil sands estimated in the trillions of barrels. But that doesn't matter to the Obama, he is a slave to the whims of the Liberal Democrats who belong to Environmentist groups who voted heavily for him in 2008.

These days, Americans should be interested in the economic success that some states are having. It's happening in states who have expanded oil permits on private and state lands. In those states unemployment rates are well below half of the national average. Yet, the Obama administration does nothing to help Americans at the pump, finding a job, or just get on with not having to be dependant on Foreign Oil.

I sometimes wish he'd just stay on the golf course and leave the governing of America to people who understand what Americans really need - and not what Obama's arrogance thinks we need.

SECOND SHOT!

Tiger Woods and His Porn Star Girlfriends

It seems that just as Tiger Woods is only now getting back into his swing of things for the Masters after almost 3 years of not winning a game, his three former porn star girlfriends are now releasing a new X-rated movie based on their bedroom romps with the sex-crazed professional golfer.

His girlfriends Devon James, Holly Sampson and Joslyn James are starring in the X-rated film "3 Mistresses: Notorious Tales of the World's Greatest Golfer."

Catchy title huh! Yup, this film is going to be released today, April 3rd - and yes, yesterday Tiger Woods showed up to tee off in the Masters which he hasn't won since way back in 2005.

In the movie, besides the nudity and such, the women get together for a lot of things - including an in-depth Question & Answer session about Tiger Woods.

Since all three of these women also happen to be adult porn stars that have sex for a living, their discussion will include explicit facts about Tiger's sexual tastes and actual on-screen demonstrations of what Tiger Woods, the Golf Legend, is like in the sack.

Though this all sounds like a "How To Video" for the next women in Woods' life, according to the film's director, B. Skow, "Any time three women get together to talk about the same guy, the results are going to be more than interesting."

I checked all over the internet and I couldn't find any word as to whether or not the film will debut at the clubhouse in Augusta, or if Tiger Woods actually shows up in the film to talk about his short comings.

THIRD SHOT!

NBC admitts to editing George Zimmerman 911 Call

NBC's "Today" show ran the edited audio of George Zimmerman's phone call to a police dispatcher in which Zimmerman says: "'This guy looks like he's up to no good … he looks black."

But the audio recording in its entirety reveals that Zimmerman did not volunteer the information that Martin was black. Instead, Zimmerman was answering a question from a police dispatcher about the race of the "suspicious person" whom Zimmerman was speaking about.

A transcript of the complete 911 call shows that Zimmerman said, "This guy looks like he's up to no good. Or he's on drugs or something. It's raining and he's just walking around, looking about."

The 911 officer responded saying, "OK, and this guy - is he black, white or Hispanic?"

"He looks black," Zimmerman said.

The abridged conversation between Zimmerman and the dispatcher that NBC ran on March 27 has been blasted by media watchdog groups as misleading. Critics have said the edited version was made to suggest that Zimmerman targeted Martin because he was black -- an accusation by many that is still under investigation.

NBC has now launched an internal probe regarding running the edited version of the 911 call from George Zimmerman - which made Zimmerman sound like a racist.

"We have launched an internal investigation into the editorial process surrounding this particular story," the network said in a statement to the Washington Post on Monday.

On February 26th, Trayvon Martin, 17, was shot and killed by George Zimmerman, 28, a neighborhood watch volunteer who feared for his life after Martin attacked the shorter Zimmerman by punching him in his face and slammed his head into the pavement.

The Liberal Media and Black activist determined to re-write what took place at the event have stirred up a national focus on race and the laws of self-defense.

Zimmerman, whose father is Caucasian and mother is Hispanic, told police the teen attacked him before he shot in self-defense. He has not been charged in the case, despite repeated calls by Liberal Political leaders and zealous protesters out for blood.

NBC has also come under fire by some critics for allowing MSNBC personality, the Rev. Al Sharpton, to lead protests in Florida calling for Zimmerman's arrest. Sharpton is scheduled to speak Monday in Sanford, Florida, at a march of about a thousand people carrying signs and wearing T-shirts with the teen's image.

Is this a conflict of interest? Well, I think it would normally be considered a conflict of interest if there actually were a conflict betweem what a liberal black activist like Sharpton and NBC want. I see them as having the same goal in mind.

Their goal is to change America into a Socialist country based on Liberal idealogy that says the government is superior to the will of the people. One way of attacking what they precieve as a problem is to attack America conservatism and assault our heritage, traditions, and ideals.

Justice and Due Process being one. By working the crowd, whether using phony 911 calls or provoking rhetoric, both NBC and their liberal biased commentators do the very some thing.

They appear to encourage the lynch-mob mentality that has been running rambid since the attack on Zimmerman first took place. To re-write the event to make the assailant the victim, yes, George Zimmerman is their target.

FOURTH SHOT!

Mom sues hospital after nurse cuts off baby's finger!

That's right, in Haines City, Florida, Veronica Olguin's has decided to sue a local hospital after one of their nurses cut off part of her infant daughter Selena's finger while removing an IV.
Veronica Olguin's daughter Selena

Selena's mom is suing the Heart of Florida Regional Medical Center after the incident in October. I'm surprised that its taken this long.

I don't really believe in suing folks, but this is more than most should have to put up with. Olguin's 3-month-old daughter Selena had been in the hospital for three days recovering from a high fever.

When a nurse went to remove the tape that attached the baby's IV with scissors, she severed part of the child's finger. Imagine that!

"There was blood everywhere. It was all over her shirt, it was on my shirt. It was on my face. I held her face close to my chest. She was red, she was screaming," Veronica Olguin said when asked what happened.

Olguin's attorney Lou Pendas says both the nurse and the hospital were negligent. "The nurse threw the scissors used to sever the pinky in a panic. She rushed out of the room, screaming, and that's when the doctors rushed back into the room," Pendas said.

About half of Selena's finger was found on the floor, but the veins were too small to reattach it. Pendas claims that while attorneys for the hospital were responsive to him at first, they stopped responding, forcing him to file the lawsuit.

The hospital released a statement through their attorneys, saying, "We deeply regret the harm to the child and want to reiterate our compassion and concern for her and her family. We reached out right away to the child's family and their attorney, but have not been able to reach a mutually agreeable resolution. We want to reiterate our compassion and concern for the child and her family."

Richards Ford with Wicker Smith out of Orlando, which represents the hospital, told FOX News in Tampa Bay, that the nurse is back at the hospital - but he couldn't say whether she was working with patients or not.

Olguin says she still has nightmares about the incident, and she believes Selena does too. "I saw everything. And it's really hard what I went through. And I can't imagine what she went through," she said.

Olguin claims Selena wakes up crying often in the night, and she worries for her child's future in sports and school without a finger. "It's really hard that she, she was born so perfect.," she said.

My mom once told me that one of the worse things that can happen to a mom is seeing their child hurt in some way. We go to hospitals to get well, not incur severe injuries or the lost of a limb.

I'm sure it had to be crushing for Veronica Olguin to see Selena in that kind of pain. I can't even imagine it, nor would I ever want to go through it.

May God Bless Veronica Olguin and give her strength for the court battle ahead of her. Fact is that she'll need it since hospitals have a lot more money for legal expenses than any of us do.

FIFTH SHOT!

Honolulu Police issue 400 Citations in One Community in 3 Days

Believe it or not, the Honolulu Police issued a total of 400 citations in the community of Wahiawa over the 3 day "Kuhio Day" weekend.

The police crack down on the Wahiawa residents was part of the Honolulu Police Department’s "Safer Streets" Operation.

According to the News account, out of the 400 citations issued, 228 were for speeding, 82 were for moving violations which I always thought was speeding , 5 for mobile device violations, and the remainder 85 violations are being described as being "miscellaneous type violations" - whatever that is!

Since there were 8 arrests made for driving under the influence, I assume that's what the Honolulu Police Department considers part of the "miscellaneous type violations."

Wahiawa, on the island of Oahu in Hawaii, is where my father is from. My dad passed away almost 7 years ago, but if he were alive to hear that that small community in comparison to other parts of Oahu, had 400 citations in only 3 days - like me, he would think that that is pretty fishy.

I can't help but think 400 citations in just that community alone seems sort of odd because it reeks of targeting. Targeting is done when someone or a group makes a thing or group of things a target. They select it, not out of random occurrence but by predetermination, to be acted upon.

According to Honolulu County statistics, the population of Wahiawa in July 2007 was 16,587 residents. I can't help but wonder how many traffic violations were handed out in the city of Honolulu during this same time?

The bigger question here, how come 400 citations in one 3 day weekend? I don't know, but if I were a skeptic I'd ay that it seems that tourism may be moving to second place behind traffic tickets in making the money for the State of Hawaii these days.

California woman blames McDonald's for forcing her to become a Hooker

A California woman has reportedly filed a federal lawsuit against McDonald's, claiming the fast-food franchise had a role in her becoming a Prostitute two decades ago.

Shelley Lynn claims in the lawsuit that she was "economically and psychologically" coerced into prostitution by her ex-husband and former manager at a McDonald's in Arroyo Grande, California, the Courthouse News Service reported this week.

Lynn, who was hired by the restaurant to work behind the counter in 1982, claims in the complaint that her former boss and ex-husband, Keith Handley, pushed her into prostitution in Nevada and also "engaged in pimping operations out of the McDonald's franchises he owned."

The lawsuit places blame on the restaurant giant, claiming it "does not insure employee policies are in place to protect against unscrupulous and criminal individuals like Handley."

The complaint also reportedly states, "It [McDonald's] has an active, notorious, and hostile campaign to keep unions out. It offers an inferior health care plan and no pension benefits. Most employees are paid minimum wages as was Lynn. There is no affirmative action to encourage women employees and other women to purchase franchises,"

Lynn is suing Handley, who still runs the franchise, as well as his company Ivernia and McDonald's USA.

OK, what can I say about this story that hasn't been said about frivolous lawsuits. What does McDonald's have to do with some woman that decides to turn tricks as a Hooker? Nothing!

It amazes me that there are people out there that think that the courts are there as their personal banker, and that bullshit lawsuits and backroom deals are their way to boost their personal bank accounts. It is a form of extortion, and honestly, I really believe that these types of lawsuits would come to a complete halt if the lawyer and their client plaintiff who submitts this sort of lawsuit is held responsible for the court's cost if they cannot prove their case.

I've never sued anyone, but if I did sue someone then folks can be assured that I would have all of my evidence to back up my case and win. It seems some of the folks who bring cases like this "McDonald's made me a Hooker" lawsuit don't have much of a case, and are just looking to settle out of court because they know that McDonald's is a big corporation and can afford to do so.

In a Civil Lawsuit like this, I say prove it - or pay for the court costs of not being able to. And, don't allow them to settle out of court. If that happens then they will win and do it again later.

As for this woman who says that McDonald's made her a hooker, I guess she figured why not go with it since the hot coffee on the lap lawsuit was already done once!

I Support George Zimmerman

There has been black rallies, calls for "A Million Hoodie Protest," black Civil Rights activists have been sounding the alarm that the White and Hispanic devils are at it again, black folks from everywhere are going to Washington, D.C. to testify about something or another to Congress - even if they don't know anything.

President Obama has stirred the pot somewhat by saying that if he "had a son, he would look like Trayvon." Yes, Obama said his son would look like the man who tried to kill Zimmerman. And heck, even Oprah Winfrey has come out and said her piece on the matter as if she knows what she's talking about.

Yes, Trayvon Martin supporters are in the streets protesting, they're packing churches, swarming rallies, wearing hooded sweat shirts in solidarity, even a Congressman went on the floor to give a speech in a hooded sweat shirt -- and was escorted out because of their dress code, but still they are everywhere where they can find a TV camera to show their so-called "outrage."

While this media circus is going on around the country, friends and family of George Zimmerman, who was the neighborhood watch volunteer who shot the teen, remain silent. Zimmerman, 28, has gone into hiding.  And frankly, with the mob mentality taking over, I don't blame him for doing so!

Among other threats, the New Black Panthers black-supremacist group has put a "bounty" of $10,000 on Zimmerman's head, which of course is literally soliciting the man's murder. And no, I don't see or hear anything from U.S. Attorney General Eric Holder talking about investigating the New Black Panther black-supremacists for infringing on George Zimmerman's Civil Rights by soliciting his murder.

The few who have defended Zimmerman have done so reluctantly, and most fear some sort of public backlash. Maybe they're worried about being investigated by the Obama Justice Department because of their association?

Zimmerman's version of what happened on the rainy night of Feb. 26 has only trickled out from the Police and his attorney. Zimmerman said he was pursuing the 17-year-old Martin because Martin was acting suspiciously. He said he lost sight of the teenager, and Martin attacked him as he headed back to his sport utility vehicle (SUV). Zimmerman told police he fired in self-defense, and Police must have seen "just cause" in order to release him and not arrest him. Of course that touched off widespread public outrage and protests across the country.

Martin's supporters are eager to make this a Black versus White incident. They believe race is at the root of everything that befalls them, and they "know" it played a role in the shooting. After all, Martin was black. But wait, like Obama not being all black, Zimmerman is not all white. Zimmerman's father is white, but his mother is Hispanic.

"The family has had death threats, the father and mother, and George has had death threats. Anything related to George is a target," said Miguel Meza, who identified himself as Zimmerman's cousin. It wasn't immediately clear if Meza had talked to Zimmerman since the shooting, but he said other relatives are afraid to comment publicly, even though they think he is being treated unfairly. "The media has been quick to demonize George, but Trayvon Martin was no angelic boy walking," Meza said.

Trayvon Martin was at least 6 feet tall, several inches taller than the 5-foot-9-inch George Zimmerman. Meza said Martin was not the child as he is being depicted to be in photos flashed across the nation by devious television and newspaper outlets. The picture that the Martin family picked when asked for a picture of Trayvon Martin is one when he was much, much younger than he was when he was shot.

Another picture of Trayvon Martin has surfaced, it is more current than that well-circulated picture. It depicts a much older Trayvon Martin with the making of a moustache wearing a tank top.

"George was in a fight for his life," Meza said.

George Hall, a retired Presbyterian minister, said that he was Zimmerman's neighbor for 20 years in Manassas, Virginia, until about 2001. Hall said Zimmerman and his brother attended church -- and Hall actually wrote a recommendation for Zimmerman for a Police Academy in 2004.

"Their parents taught them to treat everybody with respect. I'm tired of hearing about this race thing," Hall said. "It could be an element in it ... but I never would have thought of him as being a racist. His father was in the Army and was a white American, and his mother was Peruvian. That makes him 50 percent Peruvian. A lot of stuff I hear, it irks me because people are drawing their own conclusions with very little evidence."

Zimmerman's father, in an interview airing Wednesday night on WOFL FOX 35 in Orlando, reiterated what his son's attorney, Craig Sonner, has said about the confrontation with Martin. George's father, Robert Zimmerman, age 64, said the teen confronted his son when he got back to his car that day.

When his son started reaching for his cellphone, Martin "was punching him in the nose, his nose was broken, and he was knocked to the concrete." He said Martin, "continued to beat George, and at some point, George pulled his pistol and did what he did."

The Orlando Sentinel, citing anonymous sources, has reported that Martin grabbed Zimmerman's head and banged it several times against the concrete sidewalk. A statement from Sanford police said the newspaper's story was "consistent" with evidence turned over to prosecutors.

George Zimmerman said he began crying for help, which his father said his family believes after listening to the 911 tapes. Martin's family says it was their son who was crying out. Witness accounts differ and 911 tapes in which the voices are heard are not clear.

Robert Zimmerman said several break-ins had happened in the neighborhood, and his son became suspicious that someone would be walking on a rainy day between the town homes. His father said that when George called the police, the 911 dispatcher asked for an address. He wasn't sure what street he was on, so despite police advising him to stop following Martin, George Zimmerman continued so he could get an address - that's what his father said.

Trayvon Martin's supporters, including a host of outspoken Liberal Celebrities and Civil Rights activists who have appeared on television for the past two weeks, all who don't believe George Zimmerman's story, even if he did in fact pass a polygraph test right after the incident. And yes, Zimmerman passed it.

They act as though they were present during the altercation. And yes, they remind me of a drunken lynch mob. They want him arrested and prosecuted, and his parents think their son is being painted in a negative light by a police department leaking information to the News Media.

The 17-year-old Martin was suspended from school three times this year. In October, he wrote obscene graffiti on a door at his high school. During a search of his backpack, campus security officers found 12 pieces of jewelry, a watch, and a screwdriver that they thought could be used as a burglary tool, according to a School Police report obtained by the Miami Herald.

But wait, I thought Trayvon Martin was a Saint! This must all be a plot of some sort by evil Whites and Hispanics -- I say with tongue in cheek!

Actually, the truth is that Trayvon Martin was probably on his way to being a "Grade A Criminal" instead of a small-time hood in a hoodie. When campus security confronted Martin, he told them a friend had given him the jewelry, but he wouldn't give a name. The Sanford Police Department said Tuesday that the jewelry could not be tied to any reported thefts. Trayvon Martin had previously been suspended for excessive absences and tardiness and, at the time of his death, was serving a 10-day suspension after school officials found an empty plastic bag with marijuana traces in his backpack.

Another of Zimmerman's friends said Zimmerman would tell Martin's parents that he's "very, very sorry" if he could.

Speaking Monday on ABC's "Good Morning America," Joe Oliver said, Zimmerman is not a racist and has virtually lost his own life since the shooting. "This is a guy who thought he was doing the right thing at the time, and it's turned out horribly wrong," said Oliver, one of the few black people who has actually come forward in support of George Zimmerman.

Zimmerman was doing his job in the Neighborhood Watch when he was attacked. He was attacked, and fair is fair to admit the truth!

After listening to the evidence that they have given to the public, I can tell you from my many years in Security, both as a Security Supervisor and later as a Security Consultant, that it is not easy to just "watch and report" sometimes. Sometimes the person you are watching sees you. Hopefully, when that happens, he leaves the area. If that's the way it works out, then yes, in those instances, your job as a visual deterrent with a radio as backup actually worked. Other times, though, it is a whole different story.

The person you're watching may become absolutely pissed that he can't carry out his plan to rob or steal or vandalize - and you are the one he blames. When that happens, he may confront you. And he will find a sense of bravery because he's angry, but also he may find it and want to confront you if he sees that you are just Security and not a Cop.

Being in Security makes you fair game because bad guys know that many Security Guards are under-trained, usually unarmed, and are not Cops with the authority that Police Officers carry with them. Bad guys know real well that kicking a Security Guard's butt won't get you in the kind of trouble that it would if he tried attacking a Cop.

It's been my experience that those are the times when you hope that your radio is working real well and a Police car with lots of officers in it is nearby - or at least not too far away so that they can back you up when the punk comes at you. I've been there on more than one occasion. Each time, I got lucky by putting them down quickly so that I didn't get hurt, but I've known Security people who were not as fortunate and were, in fact, shot, stabbed, and beaten to the point of being laid up in a hospital for days.

Over the years, I had to investigate crime scenes to try to figure out what took place during an altercation. As for the victim, the gunshot wound, the bruises, and other such marks should tell a lot about what went on. It should tell you the position of the attacker, the position of the victim before he or she resorted to "deadly force" to protect themself that night. That sort of evidence tells the story of who was the assailant and who was the victim, no matter how hard the black community tries to spin the truth -- Trayvon Martin attacked George Zimmerman.

The evidence should instantly show how far away Trayvon Martin was when George Zimmerman, fearing for his life, fired that shot. The fact is that evidence is easy to ascertain in those types of cases where it is a fight and two people struggle, and one person fired a pistol.

I'm pretty sure that since the Sanford Police Department arrived on the scene and looked over everything and saw what took place, and with that -- along with their interviews and the Polygraph that George Zimmerman took and passed that night -- they made the determination that George Zimmerman was being straddled beaten and acted because he believed his life was in mortal danger.

I trust that the Sanford Police Department did their job. And, if so, and the evidence is correct, then I understand fully how this situation could have taken place.

And that, my friends, is why I openly support George Zimmerman and the work of the Sanford Police Department. I've been in similar situations, and if I were in his - I would have done the same thing if assaulted and had to fight for my life.

If I were in fear of losing my life, I too would shoot.

RANDOM SHOTS! Obama Subpoenas, Democrat Rule, Marines Disarm, and More!

FIRST SHOT!

The House of Representatives Sends Subpoenas To Obama Administration Over Possible Fraud

A House Committee voted on Wednesday to clear the way to subpoena the Obama Administration over two separate probes.

The first Congressional investigation is concerning allegations dating back to the BP spill that the Obama Administration may have lied on reports about the temporary offshore Drilling Ban. That investigation centers on an Obama Administration report on oil production following the April 2010 explosion of the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig off the Louisiana coast.

A panel of experts said it recommended that drilling in the Gulf resume.

However, the final report from Interior Secretary Ken Salazar to President Obama called for a six-month moratorium and was edited to suggest the panel's support of that recommendation.

Friends, that's called lying - also known as Fraud!

Ken Salazar apologized in June 2010, saying he and President Obama made the decision to impose the moratorium.

House Democrats said Wednesday the change was a result of hectic deadline editing by multiple authors.

But Rep. Louie Gohmert, R-Texas, said the incident was tantamount to "fraud."

The second Congressional Investigation concerns Obama Administration officials rewriting Coal Production Regulations to hamper coal production in the United States and subsequently put Americans out of work.

Republicans are charging the Obama administration tried to squelch a report that showed a proposed regulation on coal mining would destroy jobs.

Republicans claimed Wednesday that political appointees tried to get the firm that did the study to change its numbers to reflect more of what the Obama White House wanted them to reflect - and told them not to release their estimate of job losses to anyone.

The Obama administration has contested these claims.

But since trusting the Obama Administration is not very wise, Republican members of the House are going forward wanting subpoena power to obtain documents and audio recordings that could make clear what happened in both cases.

Hastings said before the hearing that the Interior Department “has not met a single deadline for producing all of the requested information and continues to withhold the vast majority of requested materials.”

“When I became chairman, I made clear that one of my priorities would be oversight of the administration,” said Hastings, R-Wash. “Both investigations have been ongoing for over a year.”

He said the requested information includes more than 30 hours of digital audio recordings of meetings and conversations between the agency and contractors regarding the rewriting of the coal production regulation, specifically regarding stream-buffer zones.

“If there’s nothing to hide, then why are these recording being withheld,” Hastings asked at the hearing.

In a statement given to Fox News Wednesday night, the Department of the Interior denies they have not cooperated with the two probes, saying they have numerous times testified and produced documents to comply with the Committee’s legitimate oversight interests.

But if so, then why are subpoenas being issued? The Obama Interior Department must have some information that they are keeping hidden, if not than how were the subpoenas justified? Subpoenas are not easy to obtain. There has to be a reason proven to justify its issuance.

In the case of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill, the Department of the Interior says that Secretary Salazar set stronger standards for safety soon after the incident and they were quickly adopted by the industry.

But if so, then why did Obama political appointees try to get the firm that did the study to change its numbers to reflect more of what the Obama White House wanted? Why did the Department of Interior under Obama tell that firm not to release their estimate of job losses in the coal industry to anyone - espcially if that's what was going to happen as a result of the new Obama coal regulations?

The 23-17 vote along party lines allows Republican Rep. Doc Hastings, chairman of the House Natural Resources Committee, to issue the subpoenas, which will go to such agencies as the Interior Department and the Environmental Protection Agency.

Democrats were upset by it passing.

Oh well!

SECOND SHOT!

Theirs Is An Oligarchy!

Its just my opinion, but really, its no big surprise that Democrats object to the approval of the subpoena request.

After all, if you are a Democrat and realize that the President who is a member of your political party may be in trouble for breaking the law - then really, the last thing Democrats want to see right now are subpoenas. And yes, especially in an Election Year where not only the presidency - but also a number of House and Senate seats up for grabs.

The Democrats are terrified of subpoenas being sent to their own party because it focuses on their powerful hold on the Federal Government among other things. They have been in power for so many years in one capacity or another, that they feel like a subpoena is an attack on their right to "rule."

Not govern, but "rule."

The Democrats control the News Media, Television, Movies, Hollywood, Universities, the Federal Government, Labor Unions, the majority of State Legislatures, the majority of the State and Federal Courts - yes, they are a form of government in which all power is vested in a few persons or in a dominant class or clique called the Democrat Party.

Democrats believe themselves to be superior to the American people. They see themselves as the government, a government "ruled" by the few. They are an Oligarchy.

An Oligarchy who sees their power being challenged by Republicans and Conservatives. Democrats see Republicans, Conservatives, and those not in their party as just low class American peasants.

I see the Democrat Party as power hungry and ready to do anything to keep their position of authority over us all. I believe that is one of the reasons that they believe in over-regulating our lives as much as they do.

What Democrats don't understand about over-regulating Americans is something that Winston Churchill said, "If you have ten thousand regulations, you destroy all respect for the law."

The man was right!

THIRD SHOT!

Dulles Airport TSA Manager Arrested For Running A Prostitution Ring

Forget frisky pat downs! Forget touching some one's junk! Forget security! A TSA Manage at one of America's busiest airports has other things to do.

A manager at the at the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) in charge of our security and safety needs at the Dulles Airport has had a side job that has now landed him in jail.

Bryant Jermaine Livingston, 39, was arrested while on the job as a supervisor of TSA agents at Dulles International Airport. The Manassas, Virginia resident, said by phone he is innocent of the charges - but declined to discuss the details of the case.

Bryant Jermaine Livingston
Bryant Jermaine Livingston has been arrested for allegedly running a Prostitution Ring out of a Maryland hotel.

According to court documents, the agency had received a complaint of "very similar" activities back in 2009.

According to charging documents, on February 15th, Livingston used cash to rent a room at the Crowne Plaza Hotel, on Georgia Ave., in Silver Spring, Maryland.

The hotel manager recognized Livingston as a previous customer who, on earlier occasions had "groups of males and females frequently entering and exiting Livingston's room," according to a court document.

Similar activity was happening on February 15, so the manager called Montgomery County Police to report possible prostitution at his hotel.

Responding officers offered to accompany the manager as she went to evict the people from the room. At the doorway, Bryant Jermaine Livingston denied prostitution was occurring, and invited the manager and police into the room.

Responding officers reported that they arrested Bryant because of what they saw. It is called probable cause. According to reports, they saw, "11 people inside the room [including] three naked females and four males attempting to get dressed. Multiple people were laying on the two beds and other people were sitting in chairs and standing in the room."

That my friends, is called an easy arrest.

But now let's see what happens, since President Obama likes to wade in on police activity that involves Black people in America, I can't help but wonder if we will see President Obama going on television saying, "If I had a son, he'd be just like Bryant."

A Pimp? Who knows, it could still happen!

FOURTH SHOT!

Elderly Couple Forced Out of Their Home because of Spike Lee Tweet

There is nothing like stupid when it comes from Liberals. Unless it is the stupid that comes in the form of their Racial Hatred.

In this case it is the racial hatred that came from black movie director Spike Lee. What an ass!

You see, it is now being reported that an elderly Florida couple by the name of McClain has been physically forced to move into a hotel after their home address was wrongly tweeted as belonging to the man who shot black teenager Trayvon Martin.

The tweets were traced back to a man in California and the address was also reportedly re-tweeted by director Spike Lee who was so filled with hate that he tweeted George Zimmerman's address to his almost 250,000 followers.

The McClain couple, aged 70 and 72, have been harassed with hate mail, been hassled by media, and had scared neighbors questioning them since the tweet was circulated, their son Chip Humble told the Orlando Sentinel.

Fearful for their safety, and hoping to escape the angry mobs outside their door, the couple has temporarily moved to a hotel.

The confusion seems to stem from the fact the woman's son is named William George Zimmerman and he lived briefly at the address in 1995. Absolutely no relation to George Zimmerman who shot Trayvon Martin after being attacked.

When William Zimmerman pleaded with the man who tweeted the address, the man responded, "Black power all day, No justice, No peace" along with an obscenity.

Neighborhood Watch volunteer George Zimmerman shot and killed Martin in a Sanford gated community on Feb. 26, with emotions and anger running at fever pitch while he remains free.

William Zimmerman said he used his mother and stepfather's address to register a car, get a drivers license and vote when he lived there after college.

"This is really scary, and I'm concerned for my family," William Zimmerman said. "It's scary because there are people who aren't mentally right and will take this information and run with it.

"To endanger people who are innocent because people are angry is not the answer. That's not how we're going to heal. It's not [going] to help the Martin family for someone else to be hurt."

For me, I've done a lot in my life that I wish I could un-do. Some things were so stupid that I now look back and ask, what was I thinking? But there's the problem, most dumb things are done without thinking things out thoroughly enough.

I can honestly say with pride, I have never ever been so un-thinking, so absolutely stupid, so ignorant of the ways of life, that I would do something so hateful as to give an angry mob the whereabouts of someone who has not been convicted of anything - and for all practical purposes is innocent of doing anything wrong.

It amazes me that Spike Lee can live with himself after giving out the wrong address and having the effect it has had on that old couple. Racial hatred is a horrible thing. Spike Lee demonstrates that it is not just whites who hate, he proves without a doubt that blacks also have racial hatred.

I can't help but wonder how he would have felt if the McClain family were attacked and hurt somehow? I can't help but conclude from his actions that it wouldn't have meant anything to him - after all, they're not black!

Why would it matter to Spike Lee if they were attacked and injured or have had to leave their home in fear because of his stupidity and hate for whites - they are white people and mean nothing to a racist like him.

That's how I see it!

FIFTH SHOT!

California Police Chief sends Sergeant to Reporter's Residence Over a News Story

When I was living in the Bay Area in the city of San Leandro, I remember one night when a Police Officer knocked on my door at about 2am to let me know that they were looking for a shooting suspect in the area.

On March 12, 2012, Bay Area News Group reporter Doug Oakley said he was shaken by the 12:45am knock on the door of his Berkeley home. Oakley said he and his wife initially thought something was terribly wrong, perhaps that a relative had died.

No, that wasn't the case. Instead, it was pretty near to a case of Police Intimidation as folks want to get to at that hour.

Berkeley California Police Chief Michael Meehan ordered one of his Sergeant's to go to the Reporter's home and insist on changes to a News Story that the Chief perceived to be inaccurate.

The Oakland Tribune reports that Berkeley Police Chief Michael Meehan ordered the sergeant to the reporter's home minutes after reading the report online, a move First Amendments said "reeked of intimidation and attempted censorship."

Jim Ewert, general counsel of the California Newspaper Publisher's Association, characterized Meehan's alleged actions as "totally despicable," he told the newspaper.

"It's the most intimidating type of (censorship) possible because the person trying to exercise it carries a gun," Ewert said.

Of course Berkeley Police Chief Michael Meehan apologized, saying, "I would say it was an overzealous attempt to make sure that accurate information is put out. I could have done better."

Well now, there's a classic understatement - "I could have done better."

Police Intimidation is not new. It has been around a lot of years. Intimidation itself means to make fearful or to put into fear.

Generally, courts have said that proof of actual fear is not required in order to establish intimidation. It may be inferred from conduct, words, or circumstances reasonably calculated to produce fear.

Props always help when trying to induce fear. The New Black Panthers sat outside of some Voting Places back East carrying clubs. They were carrying riot batons like the police use. Dressed all in black, leather jackets, berets, and carrying those was all meant to induce fear. There mission was to ward off voters who were voting for someone other than Obama.

In the case of a Policeman, dressed in uniform on official business, knocks on your door to talk about a News Story that you just wrote. The officer is there to point out the error of your ways. I can see how that can induce fear and intimidation.

It should not happen in America, but the fact is that it does happen more than most realize. Whether it's an overzealous new officer, or an officer who was told to go "talk to" someone, intimidation happens.

It shouldn't, but it does.

LAST SHOT!

Marines told to disarm before Defense Secretary's Visit

During the recent visit where Defense Secretary Leon Panetta spoke to over 200 Marines at Camp Leatherneck in Afghanistan, the more than 200 Marines were told to take their weapons outside and leave them there before Panetta spoke.

Afghan troops had already been told not to bring their guns in.

"Something has come to light," Sgt. Maj. Brandon Hall told the troops. It was a highly unusual order, and some in the audience said they had never seen that happen before.

Asked about the order, Sgt. Maj. Brandon Hall said, all he knew was that "I was told to get the weapons out."

A defense official said that the request was not a reaction to an immediate threat. Speaking on condition of anonymity to describe security procedures, the official said, the base commander made the decision that no one would be allowed to bring in weapons.

The official said, the decision was made "out of respect for troops from other countries, such as the Afghans," who are never allowed to bring guns into an event. He went on to say that it was certainly not a request from Panetta or his security team.

If that is true, then it does make me wonder though, this the same administration whose Homeland Security Chief issued warnings about our military personnel returning home and becoming terrorist threats. So is it too far a jump to think that Panetta was in reality worried about his own safety from the Marines there? I think it's very possible.

I can't help but wonder how many of those Afghans kept pistols or knives on them? And honestly, knowing how strained things have been in Afghanistan, I can't help but wonder how many Marines left "all" of their weapons outside?

I can only hope not too many "completely" disarmed, orders or not!

RANDOM SHOTS! Oil Is More Than Gasoline, Trayvon Is At Fault, Teachers Cheat, $26 Hot Dog, and More

FIRST SHOT!

The Consequences of Not Drilling Right Now!

Domestic Oil Drilling Advocates Warn Of Increased Global Demand As Oil Supply Dwindles

An article in the news reported that more people are buying cars and using more gas around the world than ever before. This growth in the global economy increases the demand for fuel, while oil supplies are projected to get tighter.

"China was at 5 million barrels a day in 2005. Today, they are at 10 (million). By 2015, they are going to be at 15-million-barrels-a-day demand," said John Hofmeister, founder of Citizens for Affordable Energy. "That's 10 million new barrels over 10 years. India is going from 4 to 7 (million) in the next three to four years."

President Obama seems to recognize the coming explosion in demand, but has a different solution for the problem of more demand and less oil. He wants to do nothing in the way of more drilling to tap into our abundant natural resources.

He argues that more drilling is not the way of the future. Instead, he wants to wean Americans off of oil entirely by turning to alternatives energy options like electric and hybrid cars, solar and wind power - and what I call his "ATOTO" philosophy.

No matter how high gas prices at the pump go, "ATOTO" is the mantra from the wealthy Liberal Left. "ATOTO" is the acronym for "Any Thing Other Than Oil."

The problem with Obama's thinking, according to most analysts, is that the transition from oil to alternatives takes far longer than more drilling would.

"And we have a capital stock of hundreds of million of vehicles," Guy Caruso of the Center for Strategic and International Studies said. "So these types of transformations take decades and maybe even 50 to 60 years."

Lately, obviously because its an Election Year, Obama talks about oil drilling as if he were for it. Imagine that! Like a true politician, Obama is telling Americans that he is cutting red tape and issuing all sorts of oil permits for companies to get to work on Federal lands.

The problem with Obama lying to the American people these days is that he might get a few to believe him - but the majority won't. The data speaks for itself. Official government figures show that Obama is issuing far fewer permits on Federal land than George W. Bush did while he was president.

At the end of his two terms, George W. Bush issued 6,000 to 7,000 permits a year. Under Barack Hussein Obama the numbers have dropped significantly to a range of 4,000 to almost 4,500 a year.

Since it can take seven to 10 years for a permit to turn into an actual producing oil well, that means less oil will be coming from Federal lands in years to come. That combined with a rise in global demand for oil is a recipe for disaster for the United States.

Yes, all thanks to Obama's attitude of doing nothing to prepare for the future now.

Advocates of more domestic drilling say we know a crunch is coming, so we should be drilling more right now - otherwise, the result could be ugly.

"The reality of the situation, with respect to global supply is that Americans can find themselves in gasoline lines, with gas rationing by 2015 or 2016 by us not producing more of our own oil," Hofmeister said.

Obama is either purposing neglecting the facts, or he's just too dumb to understand the facts. Either way, he should understand that the facts clearly point out that even with alternatives, the U.S. Energy Department predicts that in 2035 we will still be relying on oil for 83% of our transportation needs alone.

And yes, those figures are not taking into consideration all of our other needs for oil. For some reason, Obama and the Democrats who support him only think oil is for gasoline and transportation.

But folks, Obama can't get it in his head that it's not just about gasoline and cars!

One 42-gallon barrel of oil creates 19.4 gallons of gasoline. The rest, over half, is used to make things like:

And friends, this is only about 150 of the approximately 6000 items made from oil. This is only a partial list of products made from petroleum. As we can see, it's not only about gasoline and cars.

So ask yourself, as I have asked myself lately, when the President of the United States talks about not drilling for more oil - just how many manufacturing jobs is he talking about putting at stake by not drilling right now?

How expensive will these oil based products become if they can't be made easily made here?

How many companies are going to have to relocate their manufacturing facilities overseas because they make one or a few of the thousands of oil based products?

How many companies will want to take their manufacturing jobs somewhere else because oil is not readily available in the United States and may also be cheaper in other countries than it is here?

Ask yourself, how many Americans are going to suffer because of Obama's arrogance or ignorance? Maybe he should look around and maybe take a long look at how many products that we depend on comes from oil?

Fact is, there are reasons to drill for oil that have nothing to do with just cars and transportation.

SECOND SHOT!

Texas Rangers to sell a $26 Hot Dog!

So OK, I'll take a shot at the silliness of the Texas Rangers who are now putting out a new menu item which is supposedly designed for heavy hitters.

It's really surprising to me that in today's world with a lot people out of work and the cost of a Major League Baseball Game almost out of reach for the average American, that a ball club would do what the Rangers are doing.

Instead of dropping ticket prices to draw more attendance, instead of lowering the price of a soda or a hot dog to make it more affordable for people to have something to eat and drink at a game, this season when fans show up at the stadium and decide to go to a concession - they will be able to buy a one pound hot dog priced at $26.

That's right, a one pound hot dog for $26.00!

Sportservice, the club's concessionaire, introduced its new Champion Hot Dog on Friday. Officials say the dog can feed three to four people and will be topped with chili, sauteed onions and shredded cheese. It comes on a two foot bun.

Now, just so folks know that I'm far from trashing baseball, this shot is all about a club wanting to sell a $26 Hot Dog. You see, I like to eat. When I go a game, I look forward to a soda or a beer and hot dog.

But let's face facts, the prices have been going insane for years. To me, well, it takes is real cojones to sell a 16 oz hot dog for that much money! Twenty-six dollars, that's nuts!

My favorite place to have dinner is Cattlemens Steakhouse, they have a "Cowboy Steak" which is to die for. It is a thick and juicy 20 ounce bone-in Rib Eye steak. They sell it for $24.99!

Cattlemens' also sells a steak they call "The Sheriff".  Friends, this is a big mouthwatering 2 pound Sirloin steak. They sell it for $24.99!

The ingredients in a hot dog is usually some amount of mechanically separated turkey, pork, water, corn syrup used to add texture and sweetness, salt, potassium lactate as preservative, sodium phosphates as food preservative and to also add texture, flavorings, beef, beef parts, beef stock, sodium diacetate, sodium erythorbate, maltodextrin, sodium nitrate, and extractives of paprika.

The ingredients in Rib Eye and Sirloin steaks are the same - just U.S.D.A approved 100% Grade A Beef.

For me, if I were going to a game these days, I'd have dinner before ever getting to the game. And yes, if I were in the mood to spend $26 on something to eat - it sure wouldn't be a one pound hot dog when I can have a bigger steak for less money!

THIRD SHOT!

Trayvon Martin Death: Police Say Witnesses Backs Zimmerman's Story

Just a few days ago, President Barack Hussein Obama used extremely personal terms to speak about the shooting death of a black teenager in Florida.

I couldn't believe it when I heard Obama go so far as to say, "If I had a son, he'd look like Trayvon."

My first reaction was remembering his stupid statement about a situation where a police officer was accused of being a racist because he arrested a College professor who - if I remember right - was a friend of the President.

I don't know why exactly, but the Justice Department and the FBI have gotten involved in the shooting case and have opened a Civil Rights investigation into the case.

Local authorities have convened a Grand Jury to determine whether to charge the shooter, George Zimmerman.

The Republican presidential candidates had their say, some comments better than others. Referring to the Florida law that gives people latitude to use deadly force rather than retreat during a fight, Rick Santorum says: "Stand your ground is not doing what this man did."

Considering all of the facts about the case are not in yet, I really don't know how Santorum came to that conclusion.

Newt Gingrich said people should have a right to self-defense. Mitt Romney calls the shooting a "tragedy," and echoed the president's call for a thorough investigation.

For me, I would have like to hear the three Republicans say, "I have no comment until all of the facts are in."

George Zimmerman, the man who shot Martin in late February, has avoided arrest so far by evoking the Stand Your Ground law in Florida, which allows individuals broad latitude to claim self defense in wielding a firearm.

Florida is one of 21 states with such laws, which have since come under intense scrutiny even by previous supporters. Prior to that law being passed in Florida, there were 13 "justified" killings in the state each year.

Since then, there have been 36, as reported by the Associated Press.

The case has attracted widespread media attention, given the broad spectrum of issues it covers. Geraldo Rivera's comments that Martin made himself into a target by wearing a hooded sweatshirt sparked controversy last week.

Now witnesses have been found that backs George Zimmerman's story as to what happened.

That's right, the kid was at fault!

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting that Trayvon Martin decked George Zimmerman with one punch and then repeatedly slammed his head into the sidewalk, according to a newly released version of the events that led up to the 17-year-old’s death.

The neighborhood watch Captain was left “bloody and battered,” according to the version Zimmerman told investigators.

According to what authorities have told The Orlando Sentinel, witnesses have now corroborated the version Zimmerman told investigators.

Zimmerman, 28, shot Martin on Feb. 26 in Sanford, Florida, resulting in the teenager's death.

The case has become a lightning rod for Liberal activists who claim the killing was racially motivated. Activists, including Al Sharpton, Jesse Jackson, and NAACP leader Ben Jealous, have addressed rallies in the Orlando suburb.

Another is planned for Monday afternoon attended by Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis and basketball legend Patrick Ewing.

Zimmerman claimed self-defense, but his version of what occurred has been slow in coming out. Both Republican and Democratic politicians have joined the activists querying why Zimmerman has not been arrested, especially as a 911 dispatcher specifically told him not to follow Martin.

Zimmerman told police he got out of his SUV, but lost sight of Martin. As he walked back to his vehicle, he said Martin approached him from behind and asked him if he had a problem. Zimmerman said no and reached for his cell phone, the Sentinel reports.

Martin said something like "well you do now," and punched him in the nose, Zimmerman told police. There has been no report of witnesses to that alleged initial blow until now.

As the older man fell to the ground, Martin jumped on him and started slamming his head into the sidewalk.

In a 911 call from a neighbor, a man can be heard calling for help. Police say they believe it was Zimmerman’s voice, although Martin’s attorney insists it is the teen’s.

The Sentinel reports that one witness told police he was certain he saw Zimmerman on the ground with Martin on top of him pounding away at him.

Zimmerman shot Martin once in the chest "at very close range," police told the Sentinel. When they arrived, they found Zimmerman bleeding from the nose and head. He was treated at the scene but refused to go to the hospital.

The case has caused a national furor centering on race and on Florida’s "Stand Your Ground" law that allows a person to use deadly force if he feels he is being threatened. Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee has stepped down temporarily.

Florida Gov. Rick Scott has appointed a task force headed by special prosecutor Angela Corey to investigate whether Zimmerman’s case should go before a grand jury.

Zimmerman has been in hiding since the debate about the killing ramped up.

There should be a law against it, although if there is I really don't see the Obama administration doing anything about it - but Hashim Nzinga, who is one of the leaders of the radical black-supremacist group the New Black Panthers, has put out a $10,000 Bounty on Zimmerman’s head.

That's right, incrediable as it sounds, the Black militant leader says he'll pay $10,000 for someone to kill George Zimmerman.

Black movie director Spike Lee has publicized Zimmerman’s home address in a Twitter message he tweeted to his quarter of a million followers over the weekend.

So where is the Obama administration on this? Why hasn't the Justice Department arrested both Hashim Nzinga and Spike Lee for inciting violence or soliciting murder? Could they be getting a pass because of their color?

I can't help but believe that the double-standard is getting worse!

And yes, there are those who will say that Zimmerman is wrong before that facts are completely in. It is the modern day version of a lynching!

FOURTH SHOT!

Atlanta Newspaper finds "Suspicious"' Standardized Test Scores at Schools across the Nation

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has found "suspicious" standardized test scores in roughly 200 school districts nationwide.

"It looks like we have trouble all across the country," said AJC Editor Kevin Riley.

The AJC investigation analyzed standardized test scores from 14,000 school districts, looking for fluctuations that four independent academic experts determined were too dramatic to be explained by demographic shifts, chance or even good teaching.

One example that the AJC cites is the Patrick Henry Downtown Academy in St. Louis, where 42% of their fourth-graders passed the state Math Test in 2010. Most would find this a great report, but in reality the report threw up all sorts of red flags,

The reason is that the following year, just 4% of their students passed math when they took the test as fifth-graders, according to the AJC. The newspaper points out that while the 2011 tests were administered, the school was under intense scrutiny by state investigators looking into cheating allegations.

According to the AJC investigation, this sort of thing is taking place in large urban school districts as well as in small school districts.

One speculation is that Federal and State programs are putting pressure on struggling schools to boost test scores. The newspaper's findings suggest that, in thousands of schools across the nation, increased scores took precedence over actual academic achievement - and that may have prevented under-performing students from receiving tutoring or other remedial services.

"Testing of students has become the cornerstone of national policy," Riley said. "That's how schools are evaluated, school districts, principals, teachers. It's absolutely crucial that we can trust those tests because this comes back to schoolchildren."

While the analysis stops short of proving cheating, the newspaper found a pattern of test score fluctuations similar to those uncovered by a local AJC investigation of Atlanta Public Schools in 2009. The newspaper's findings prompted a state probe, which found 180 educators at 44 Atlanta schools were involved with test-tampering.

The AJC's investigation was extensive as it looked at all 50 States, which provided them with standardized testing data, 14,743 districts from across the country examined, 69,000 schools administered the tests, 13 million students took these exams in 2010, 1.6 million records were analyzed, and 2,400 statistical models were used to identify unusual scores.

According to the port, the findings represent an unprecedented look at the integrity of school testing which has seized center stage in national education policy.

While the analysis doesn't prove cheating, it found troubling patterns in hundreds of cities. Those patterns resemble early indicators in Atlanta that ultimately led to the Atlanta cheating scandal which culminated in the Georgia Bureau of Investigation listing the names of 178 teachers and principals – 82 of whom confessed – in what's likely the biggest cheating scandal in American history.

So why would Teachers and Administrators look the other way, or be directly involved in cheating?

Well, money is the biggest reason.

Many districts have incentive programs for teachers and administrators willing to shell out big bonuses and other monetary incentives such as raises if they can show a marked improvement in their students test scores.

It seems that the very same programs to try to get teachers and administrators more involved in student performance - may be the biggest factor in contributing to the rise in cheating - their pay!

LAST SHOT!

Wow! Do they know how to catch fish in New Zealand!

Nathan Adams' 738-pound Pacific Bluefin Tuna may be the biggest ever caught!

On March 5, 2012, it was reported that a 738 pound Pacific Bluefin Tuna was caught off of New Zealand.

Angler Nathan Adams with fishing rod
The monster fish that was described by angler Nathan Adams as a "Fish of a Lifetime" just may also be the largest Pacific Bluefin Tuna ever landed on a rod and reel.

The catch was made aboard an 18-foot boat during a recent competition off Houhora in New Zealand.

That's right, imagine that for a minute, while in an 18 foot boat the man may have caught the biggest fish on record using a rod and reel.

I'm sorry, but I can't even imagine it! I've been in 18 footers, and I would not consider that a big boat. This just impresses me to no end!

According to reports, if it's approved by the International Game Fish Association (IGFA), it will set the new All-Tackle World Record.

It would replace the old record which was a 716-pound 8-ounce Pacific Bluefin Tuna which was reeled in off of Westport, New Zealand, back in 2007.

The IGFA usually takes several weeks before deciding on record submissions, but since Adams was in a competition and presumably complied with strict tournament rules, there's a strong chance he'll become the record holder immediately.

It seems that Nathan Adams is just one of the greats when it comes to fishing. Come to find out, his World Record Pacific Bluefin Tuna was one of two incredible catches for Adams who is a member of the Muriwai Sportfishing Club in Kumeu, New Zealand.

You see, Adams also landed a 788-pound Black Marlin to set a club record, and his group battled 12 Billfish in 11 days as part of the New Zealand Sport Fishing Council Nationals competition.

To show folks how its really done right in New Zealand, a 16-year-old girl accounted for five of those Billfish during that competition.

As usual in tournament competitions these days, most of the fish caught were released. But Adams' giant tuna and marlin were kept and will be sent to the taxidermist to be mounted.

Adams told the local newspaper Auckland Now, that he'd like to place the tuna on the wall of his home - replacing a 30-pound snapper.

His wife isn't sure she wants something so large as a wall decoration, "She says it will be like mounting a sofa," Adams said.

This man is truly a Great Fisherman!
