The 9/11 Cross

This article was supposed to have been primarily about the 9/11 Cross, which really became a real sign of Christian hope during the dark days at ground zero after that Muslim Terrorist attack. Instead, it turned out to be a post that would have been more aptly called,

"Everything that I know about Muslims, I've learned since 9/11/2001."

During the attacks on 9/11, what we saw on television had many of us open-mouthed and completely shocked at what we were looking at. I remember thinking, it just couldn't be. We're under attack. The next day newspapers around the country told us all about what we watched take place on television for ourselves. Of course, many of us watched the scenes on television and simply cried. Many, many of us cried that day and many days ever since.

As for anger and resolve, many Americans like me were angry and wanted to know who was responsible. Many of us wanted to retaliate right then and there with the full fury of our most deadly weapons that sit in our arsenal. As a few friends put it at the time, let's go nuclear. Let's find out who did this and take them out right now. Not later, but right now.

For me, I was with them in that wanted whatever nation and/or group responsible -- to completely annihilated, completely removed from the map. I wanted to inflict such damage on whoever was responsible that they and generations of others would never think of doing such a horrible thing again. I wanted the leaders, the planners, the sponsors, all killed with a vengeance.

A few years later, I was told that would have been an overreaction. Frankly, through the years, I've learned that the actions of those who committed such a wicked and cruel act -- truly deserved nothing short of being decimated from the earth.

Seeing the pictures of the World Trade Towers aflame, we watched intently in horror.

That is, as intently as we could. Many of us had to turn away when the Americans, those inside those buildings, started jumping to their death instead of being burned alive. The horror was too much to watch at times.

I didn't know if the towers would come down.

Newspeople on television all talked about it and speculated on and on about it happening. I remember hoping it wouldn't. Firemen had run into the buildings. Brave good men who I hoped would pull everyone out, and we'd then move on and work to find out who would be so Satan-like as to do this.

I watched as the First Responders kept coming, but I honestly didn't think the towers would come down. I didn't know if they would, but I guess I was really praying to Almighty God that they wouldn't. When they did, they crashed down with the souls of almost 3000 Americans. That includes everyone in the building when it was hit and all of the First Responders who were in there to help.

It was one of the most horrible things that I've seen in my life, especially knowing people are still inside.

Death and destruction everywhere. The rescuers were helpless against the weight of the attack.

The cowardly attackers, fanatic Muslims, had succeeded in killing thousands and raining destruction on everything there. Even that small symbol of hope, small Saint Nicholas Church, that little church that stood beside the World Trade Center towers -- it too would be buried.

Despair and exhaustion swept over everyone, yet the job of recovering anyone alive was still at hand. While others ran from the dust of the total disintegration of those towering buildings, Firemen and other Rescuers again came forth. Now their job was to put out the fires and search for those alive.

Then as if it were a sign from God.

Out of the death, the ruin, and the rubble, a Cross appeared in the aftermath of the World Trade Center attacks on 9/11/2001. It just appeared out of nowhere. The steel structure was ripped away from it, and it stood in a place open and solitary. No one put it there. And no, in case you're wondering, no one erected it. It simply appeared.

Many there thought it a miracle, a sign of hope, and it did, in fact, give those there a small sense of comfort to know that God has not abandoned us. It rose above the rubble. It rose to give those there hope and comfort.

The cross revealed itself when needed and gave many there at Ground Zero needed hope.

It was some of the bleakest of days following 9/11. And no, no one erected it. The fact is that everyone was too busy at the time to put up a Memorial cross of any sort. Everyone there was on a recovery and rescue mission to save lives, and time was precious. It's true! There simply was no time. Time became something no one wasted.

The grueling task of trying to find survivors went inch by inch for days, until yes, it turned into a job to identify those lost. Many have never been accounted for. It became clear that there was simply nothing left of them. Their souls had been taken.

During the attack, millions upon millions of people around the world watched 9/11 unfold.

Like many others around the world, the Muslim World watched. And yes, even Palestinians in the Middle East watched the attacks, the destruction, the loss of American lives, the heroic efforts, and the gallant people who will never be with us again.

The difference became clear. While others worldwide watched in disbelief that such an attack had taken place, the Palestinians had a different response. Later it was found out that their reaction was common among Muslims.

Muslims rejoiced! Yes, Muslims around the world celebrated!

After seeing the broadcasts on their televisions, Palestinians in the Middle East celebrated and danced in their streets. All rejoicing, happy at what their brother Muslims had done, they celebrated the deaths of Americans.

Their fondest of dreams had come true, and their blood lust was being fulfilled. They all danced and celebrated in the name of Allah or Mohammad or some other evil they believe in.

It is a fact that the Muslim terrorists who attacked us on 9/11 were treated as Heroes throughout the Muslim world.

Yes, the people who America gives Billions of dollars in aid actually celebrated at our darkest hour. We found out later that Saudi Arabia was behind the funding of those Muslim Terrorists. In the Muslim World, they were seen as "Heroes" for what they did.

Those Muslims did their job well. Actually, too well. Those Muslim terrorists were able to strike a blow at America that laid destruction and death to thousands. Yes, with every jumper, Muslims danced and celebrated the deaths of those jumping to avoid being burned alive.

But then, unknowingly to them, at the same time, they simultaneously united and educated America as to what sorts of pigs called themselves Muslims.

Americans like me might not have known anything about Islam or how ruthless and bloodthirsty Muslims really were -- but we all learned quickly that day.

We learned what Islam, their so-called "Religion of Peace," is really nothing but crap. Just a cult of crazies in love with death and killing and slavery. We all found out that Islam is about death and killing and the destruction of humans and everything around us.

Like many Americans, I really didn't know very much about Muslims. During and after 9/11, seeing them celebrate in the streets. Watching them celebrate the death of thousands of men and women and children -- I learned all that I've ever needed to know about them.

Like most Americans, all that I care to know about Islam -- I learned on 9/11. Those who attacked us and those who celebrated at our sorrow, they taught me everything that I'd ever want to know about such a blood-thirsty cult of fanatics.

Since 9/11, with everything that has taken place since that horrible day, all of the many Muslim suicide bombers, all of the Muslims killing all of the innocent men and women. And also, the killing of children, the Muslim desire to wage mass destruction, the beheadings, the death threats -- yes, I'd say that that is all enough evidence for me to come to only one conclusion:

Islam is as Evil as anything that has ever roamed the earth. Yes, Islam is Satan's religion of choice!

Hitler's Nazi army is no comparison to the evil that sits in the hearts of Muslim killers.

They make Emperors and Dictators look small in comparison. They rule with iron fists incapable of passion or justice. Followers of Islam kill for no reason other than to follow a screwed-up individual who passed himself off as a so-called "Prophet of God."

Prophet of the Devil, yes, but surely not God.

The world has billions of followers of Islam, yet they don't know the simplest thing about God. They are ignorant of the fact that God loves all mankind. He does not rejoice at the slaughter of man.

Muslims use the words of their phony "Prophet" and take them as if they came from God. Zealots and fools all! And yes, as far as I can see, more Muslims than not have proven themselves enemies of the United States, since 9/11. They are certainly not friends of the human race.

Even those who have sworn an oath as soldiers in the U.S. Army -- yes, they too have murdered other American Soldiers all in the name of their so-called "religion of peace."

Want proof? Look at the actions of American soldiers who are Muslim who have either murdered or tried to murder their fellow American soldiers.

See what Muslims call Loyalty and Honor!

Look at the U.S. Army soldier Hasan Karim Akbar who in 2003 willfully on his own threw four hand grenades into three tents early one morning when the most troops were asleep. He then continued his terrorist attack by firing his rifle at others during the ensuing chaos. He was a part of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 101st Airborne Division at Camp Pennsylvania, Kuwait. He is a Muslim Terrorist and American Traitor. He should have been hanged for what he did.

In 2004, Marine Corporal Wassef Ali Hassoun was charged with deserting his post in Iraq. The military believes he is hiding in Lebanon. He is a Muslim Terrorist, an American Traitor, and a deserter. If ever found, he should be tried and punished to the full extent of the law as a Deserter.

And how about the Fort Hood terrorist attack where a Muslim soldier and an Officer no less, Army Major Nidal Malik Hasan, wanted only and senselessly killed 12 people and wounded 31 others. He screamed "Allah Akbar" during his terrorist attack. Thankfully he was finally shot and wounded. Yes, he is a Muslim follower of their Prophet of Death.

Within the last few months, Army PFC Nasser Abdo was arrested for planning an attack on Fort Hood personnel to mimic his Muslim brother Nidal Malik Hasan. These were American Soldiers who took an oath to protect and defend the United States and our Constitution against all enemies, foreign and domestic.

Instead, their so-called "religion of peace' told them to kill other soldiers and betray America -- and they either did it or tried to! They have no loyalty other than to Islam, and even their family comes last to their religion of hate. Yes, the plots, the lies, the hate have only reinforced my belief that the Muslim religion is one of hate and murder.

It is certainly not the "religion of peace" that they are trying to sell themselves off as. Islam teaches their followers to be mindless stooges, dumb, dishonorable, angry, and murderous. They do some of the most disgusting acts known to man, behead, torture, mutilate, and use their children as weapons and shields.

It amazes me that so many Muslims will stoop so low as to harm their own children with bombs to attack the unarmed and innocent. It is a sick mind that will use children as human weapons and shields.

Everything that I needed to learn about Muslims and their wicked religion, I learned on 9/11/2001.

Muslims are cowards, impostors, schemers, traitors, hypocrites, baby rapers, and murderers, all for nothing more than a chance to appease some angry religion that seems to only preach hate, murder, and the love of blood. It is appalling that they would even use their own children, nevertheless use them as weapons, to pursue a path of death all in the name of some evil that they have the nerve to call a "Prophet." The "Prophet of Death" or "Prophet of Satan," but certainly Mohammad was not the "Prophet of Life" or God!

They want to indoctrinate American children into their cult. And please don't fool yourself into thinking that it's not happening. The fact is that Muslim children start their indoctrination into the religion of hate starting at birth.

Indoctrination? Brian washing? Yes, indoctrination and brainwashing! They believe that within their first 6 years of a child's life, they will have hooked their children on the hate of Islam. Yes, it's no different than if they were hooked on drugs!

I can only hope that the Muslim world will one day say, "Enough is enough!" Maybe one day, we will see a Reformation within Islam to denounce their murderous ways.

In the 16th Century, Christians went through a Reformation because some objected to the Catholic Church's doctrines, rituals, and ecclesiastical structure. Their "protest," the origin of the word "Protestant," led to Protestant churches' creation. But I don't see it happening, really. For example, take this recent post in an American Muslim website, which says:

"Al Qaeda attacked America on 9/11 (and before 9/11) in response to American support for Muslim dictatorships in the Muslim world, American support for Israel, and direct American military involvement in the Muslim world (including in Saudi Arabia and Iraq) dating back to the first Gulf War."

Yes, they are trying to make an excuse for the 9/11 attack. Amazing, isn't it! It sure doesn't sound like an apology for what Muslims believe in or do? No, it doesn't. It sounds like they are in agreement with those who attacked us on 9/11.

Muslim terrorists are fanatics and zealots. These crazies, these murderers, feel compelled to confront people with different beliefs and aggressively denounce them as "wrong" or "bad." They use their so-called "Holy Book," the Koran, which espouses a backward ideology, to threaten those unwilling to convert to their beliefs or conform to their demands. Their threat is to kill those in defiance of their idea of change. Yes, they want to kill those who don't believe as they do. It's just that simple. And yes, they believe that it's OK.

Why? Well, it's because they believe their violence is OK. After all, they believe "Allah is forgiving and merciful."

Allah is forgiving and merciful in a pig's eye!

I find it interesting that whereas the Christian Bible preaches Hope, Faith, and Love, that in contrast, the Koran preaches Death and Murder and the love of killing. The Koran is like an Instructional Manual for Serial Killers. It instructs its followers to do harm and spill blood - and they do as the Quran preaches.

Brainless? Mindless? Stupid? Well, of course, they are! Or maybe they use Islam as just an excuse to do vile things upon everyone and everything, including one's own family. Throughout their so-called Holy Book, their Quran, passages are calling for murder:

Quran (8:12) "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them."

They believe in killing those who they consider "non-believers." They call us "Infidels," which means "ones without faith" -- that is their faith. And the fact is that Muslim extremists have applied the term to all non-Muslims. Mohammad is said to have slaughtered "unbelievers" and was the master-mind of over 60 massacres. Imagine that!

As I see it, you have to hate life a great deal to emulate Mohammad's thirst for blood.

Yes, that is what I've learned about Islam since 9/11.

But that's not all that I've learned since that horrible day. There's more. I also learned a great deal about American Patriotism and Solidarity versus Anti-American Extremist. Like many Americans, it was the first time in my life that I saw Americans united in the way they did.

Patriotism and solidarity were alive and well despite the ire of liberals. Flags sprang up everywhere and anywhere. From front porches to the sides of barns, from the windows of shops and businesses and apartment building to freeway overpasses, from car windows to flag pins on lapels, flags of solidarity were everywhere.

Yes, we have it in us to unite.

Too bad it didn't last, but I blame Democrats, Liberal Hollywood, and the Liberal Media for that. It didn't take long after 9/11 for us all to get a good look at the Liberal Left in America. We found out how truly self-serving they are, as in both big and little ways, their anti-American attitude reared its ugly head.

Even when Senator Barack Obama was asked why he wasn't wearing a flag lapel pin, one could tell very quickly that he didn't understand the first thing about how Americans felt. He didn't understand that we were waving the flag in solidarity and defiance to those who thought we were down. When he was running for president in 2007, Obama refused to wear an American Flag pin.

In an article from 2007, then-Senator Barack Obama, a Democratic presidential candidate, said he doesn't wear an American flag lapel pin because it has become a substitute for "true patriotism" since the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks. Asked about it in an interview with KCRG-TV in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the Illinois senator said he stopped wearing the pin shortly after the attacks and instead hoped to show his patriotism by explaining his ideas.

"The truth is that right after 9/11, I had a pin," Obama said. "Shortly after 9/11, particularly because as we're talking about the Iraq war, that became a substitute for I think true patriotism, which is speaking out on issues that are of importance to our national security. I decided I won't wear that pin on my chest," he said in the interview.

"Instead," he said, "I'm going to try to tell the American people what I believe will make this country great, and hopefully, that will be a testament to my patriotism."

But friends, it went from no lapel pins to much, much more -- including attacks on our troops!

Conservatives were waving flags in support of those families who lost loved ones, in support of our troops who were being called out to engage this enemy, in support of those enlisting in the military - in contrast, liberals were calling for the death of President Bush and those fighting in our military.

First, liberals started attacking President Bush, then it was our military and their families, and then they moved to our intelligence agencies who kept us from being attacked again. The hard Left Democrat politicians like Nancy Pelosi, John Murtha, and others were ruthless in their attacks on our troops while they hugged those who wanted our troops dead. No kidding!

Democrat Representative John Murtha called U.S. Marines "Murderers." Democrat Dick Durbin compared our troops to Nazis. He did so right there on the Senate floor.

After a day when most Americans paused and took notice, and yes watched the horrendous unfold live on television, I would have never thought that there would later be Americans like the Micheal Moore leftist types of Hollywood, or Country Music's Dixie Chicks, or the College and University Teachers and Professors who -- believe it or not -- came out in support of the Muslim terrorists.

Many liberals spoke openly to say that they believed that we Americans deserved being attacked and that President George W. Bush was the real terrorist. Yes, many from the Liberal Left openly said that we deserved being attacked. Imagine that!

I would have never believed that the Liberal Left in America would become the enemy of our nation as it has shown itself to be. Sadly, that is one thing that I've learned since 9/11 that I have not forgotten. I never thought that I'd see the day when top Democrat Politicians would meet with and literally embrace Anti-American groups like Code Pink, who openly said that they "support the murder of our troops."

Since 9/11, I've learned that Liberals can be as vicious as Muslims, "radical," or otherwise when attacking America. And instead of building morale, Democrats tear at America's morale. Even today, ten years later, Democrats are like rats as they try to undermine America's strengths and virtues.

No, I've not forgotten the hatred from the left demonstrated in those Liberal anti-War/anti-American protests. I really believe that it was hatred sanctioned by the Liberal Media and condoned by the Democratic Party.

I remember well when the Liberals protested against our troops and actually supported those who want to kill Americans. Yes, they have given support to those who have taken every opportunity to hinder our troops' ability to fight and win.

Like many other Americans, I learned that Liberals have actually attempted to turn the American people against the mission ahead of us.

The mission is to survive in a world where the enemy is nation-less and insane. Like a "Fifth Column," the Liberal Left in America has worked tirelessly to undermine America's efforts to remain free while staying safe. I really believe that liberals work against America and for the enemy in many cases.

Want proof? Look at the New York Times publishing our Nation's classified information. And how about that Gay American Soldier who placed his loyalty for his sexual preference and the liberal cause over America's safety when he leaked classified documents to Wiki-leaks.

During that time, I learned that Liberals, like radical Muslims, are not to be trusted.

It is no wonder that Franklin D Roosevelt censored the News on radio and in the papers and what was being said on film during World War II. It is no wonder that FDR set up a department to screen all movie scripts that might have been detrimental to the War Effort. I now understand it.

Since 9/11, I have come to believe that, like it or not, it is our mission to stomp out terrorists overseas before they can come here and recreate their death and destruction here. Since 9/11, I have learned that the liberal News Media sees America as the aggressor. I have learned that they do not think that those who have attacked us are as evil as others believe.

And yes, the liberal left even wants to give rights to those who want to attack us in the future. Rights reserved for citizens and soldiers, but not terrorists. Unbelievable as it is, it's true.

Since 9/11, Liberal Newspapers, like the New York Times, have published articles attacking America while aiding the enemy.

They published sensitive material that undermined our national security and showed themselves to put profit ahead of protecting and supporting Americans and our troops. Too bad their actions haven't worked out so well for them. It seems that the American people have stopped buying the leading liberal paper in the nation.

It makes me wonder if they've actually figured out that they are in financial trouble because their paper assaults most Americans -- the very people they ask to buy it. Because I see the New York Times as openly hostile to America, I don't think their paper is fit to line a cat box.

Frankly, the lessons haven't stopped.

I recently found out that an Atheist Group wants to take down the 9/11 Cross and remove it from the 9/11 Memorial. The very cross that was recently placed in the 9/11 Memorial is now offending the Liberal Left. Frankly, they intend to re-write history and leave something that became a symbol of hope completely out of the story of what took place during that horrible time.

Imagine that for a minute. Simply get rid of something because it offends you? Only Liberal America would do that!

According to NBCNewYork.com, July 27, 2011:

"An atheist group has filed a lawsuit seeking to prevent a cross made out of World Trade Center steel beams from going on display at the 9/11 Memorial Museum. American Atheists sued this week in state court, arguing that the group opposes the cross's placement in the museum because members believe it is the only religious article getting special accommodation there. The cross, made of two intersecting steel beams, was found standing in the rubble of the World Trade Center following the Sept. 11, 2001, terrorist attacks."

The article finishes by quoting 9/11 Memorial President Joe Daniels, who said, "This steel remnant became a symbol of spiritual comfort for the thousands of recovery workers who toiled at ground zero, as well as for people around the world. In the historical exhibition, the cross is part of our commitment to bring back the authentic physical reminders that tell the story of 9/11 in a way nothing else can.”

He said it much better than I could have. The fact is that the 9/11 cross is an "authentic physical reminder that tells the story of 9/11 in a way nothing else can.” Just as the following pictures of President George W Bush visiting Ground Zero are a big part of 9/11, so is the 9/11 Cross!

Others died on 9/11. There are others who the 9/11 cross stands for, others who were murdered by Muslim terrorists.

They went to their deaths in the Pentagon and in a field in Pennsylvania. They went to their death because of Muslim hate and Islam's love of blood. They were like those who died in the World Trade Towers. They were innocent and vulnerable.

Although the passengers on Flight 93 tried to retake their plane, the Muslim terrorists held the advantage. The only thing those Americans aboard Flight 93 could do was stop it from being used as a weapon to kill others and go down with the plane. Heroes all!

United Airlines Flight 93 was a passenger flight hijacked by four al-Qaeda terrorists as part of the 9/11 attacks. It crashed into a field near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, during an attempt by some of the passengers to regain control. All 44 people aboard, including the 4 Muslim terrorists, were killed.

The defenseless appear to be Islam's prime target. To Muslims, the defenseless are perfect targets. Unlike American Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines who will fight and kill them, Muslims are cowards who attack the helpless and the unarmed. It appears that that's what Islam teaches.

On 9/11, I learned that Islam is a cowardly cult.

Of course, there are the faces!

The victims of the Muslim Attack on 9/11.

Why write this knowing that I'm going to be attacked as a Muslim-hating racist?

I don't hate peaceful people of any race or religion. I wrote this to say that I know nothing about Islam and Muslims before 9/11. The fact is, 9/11 educated me as to the ruthlessness of Islam. Before 9/11, other than knowledge of their hate for Israel, I had no idea that they hated Americans as much as they do.

I wrote this to chronicle what I learned on 9/11. I wrote this because the 9/11 Cross is under attack. I wrote this because I feel we need to remember what happened on 9/11. We need to remember those who were murdered. We should not forgive nor forget. It's wrong, just wrong, to do so.

We need to remember it every day, all of it. We need to remember the Muslim blood lust and Liberal America stabbing America in the back. We need to remember every lesson that we learned that day and afterward. All of it!

The 9/11 cross is another part of what happened to America that changed us as a free nation. We should remember the comfort it gave during those bleak days when men and women search the rubble for the bodies of those innocents that were killed senselessly. We should keep in mind that 9/11 is why our troops fighting and dying in places like Iraq and Afghanistan. Also, in many many other parts of the world for the same reason.

Because there are those, both foreign and domestic, who want to destroy us, we should remember those faces of those who were the victims of the attack on America. We should not allow their deaths to be forgotten.

Lately, I've been called a "Racist" for this article, mainly because I take issue with Muslims who have some sort of blood lust. And, of course, I do have a problem with their Koran.

The book preaches killing and death, and that's all it seems to preach as far as I'm concerned. And yes, I see the Muslim faith for what it has shown me and nothing else. I see the Christian, Jewish, or even the Buddhist faiths in the same way -- only by what they show me.

The Christian, Jewish, or even the Buddhist faiths, have shown me that they practice benevolence to all. In contrast, from what I can see, Islam is the only religion with terrorists by the thousands. All more than willing to die for some sick idea that death is better than life.

Life is God's greatest gift to mankind. And frankly, it is squandered by Muslims who seek to kill others in the name of their religion. That's happening all over the world.

Like most of you, I have watched Muslims commit all sorts of crimes against mankind. Beheadings, throwing acid in a daughter's or sister's face, cutting off the nose of your own daughter, stoning someone to death, slaughtering the defenseless, suicide bombs strapped to children, the wanton destruction of life.

These days, if a Muslim does something horrible and cruel, I don't see it as strange anymore because that is what Muslims do. It just seems normal for them. It wouldn't surprise me if they ate their own. And while the terrorists might be exceptions, those who are too scared and timid to speak up against the killers -- have killers amongst them, and they don't speak up.

The picture that I get of the Muslim faith is one of a "Cult of Sick Psychopathic Serial Killers and Mass Murderers" driven psychologically to kill anyone and everyone they see as not one of them. Heck, they even kill their own children over what their religion commands them to do.

So, do you want to know how truly out of touch Barack Obama really is?

Remember when Obama said this regarding the Muslim's faith idea of humanity, "America and Islam are not exclusive, and need not be in competition. Instead, they overlap, and share common principles – principles of justice and progress; tolerance and the dignity of all human beings."

Dignity? Tolerance? Common principles? In a pig's eye! I don't know how he got that out without choking on his tongue. I guess he forgot that America wants freedom spread throughout the world, even at the price of stopping Muslim countries from stoning their women -- or the torturous cutting off the noses of their own daughters. Talk about stupid, brainless fanatics, followers of evil. They love blood.

As for forgiveness?

Some have written me to say that it's only "Radical" Muslims that's at fault. My first response to that is asking where are the Muslims condemning what took place? If it is only a few radicals, why are the rest silent? Whether we like it or not, their silence is, in effect, a way of condoning such vicious acts.

I also say that it's more than just so-called "Radicals," I say it is any Muslim who is a devout follower of the Quran -- which reads like the book of death. The Quran is their biggest problem. It seems to have been written by some homicidal maniac who hated women, children, and fellow men. After all, there is nothing "Holy" about Islam's "holy book." It preaches an ideology of hate and death. It is not only the "Radical" Muslim. It is also the devout "Quiet" Muslim. He is nothing but a gutless pig who doesn't step forward to condemn what Islam teaches.

For example, in Beslan, Russia, Muslim terrorists took over an elementary school and systematically slaughtered both the children and teachers inside. The terrorists took 777 school children and more than 300 adults, hostage. Of the 300 that were killed, those Muslims slaughtered 156 were innocent Russian children. In my conclusion, followers of Islam believe in harming the innocent.

And by the way, Why no Muslim outrage at all?

And please don't tell me it's only "Radical" Muslims! It's not! Those who follow the Koran, or Quran, learn to hate and love death and blood. Some have read this article and wrote saying that I'm not very Christian toward Muslims, the Liberal Left, or the anti-American bastards who protest our troops like Code Pink, supported by the Democrat Party. The Democrats support Code Pink even though that anti-War group supports the murder of our troops.

People tell me that as a Christian that I should forgive them. Some have written to tell me that I'm a bad Christian because I refuse to forgive those who murdered thousands of innocent people that day, that I don't forgive those calling for the death of our troops. But that's fine because honestly, I've never been one of those "turn the other cheek" types of Christians. I don't believe in turning the other cheek, especially for those who want to kill my family, friends, or countrymen, especially our troops.

Some have written, telling me that I should forgive the Muslim terrorists for what they did on 9/11 and their thousands of other acts of inhumanity. Supposedly it's following some sort of Christian belief. Who knows where that comes from?

I missed that class in Sunday School that says forgive those who want you dead! I must have missed that part in Sunday School where a Christian has to forgive those who want only to commit mass murder. Besides, I don't see how being Christian means that I'm supposed to forgive the Muslims who killed thousands on 9/11.

And for those who say as a Christian, a Catholic, I should forgive Muslim cruelty? The last time I checked, nowhere in the Holy Bible says that I have to forgive murders. Besides, I would be a hypocrite to say that I'm somehow capable of forgiving such a murderous act as killing the innocent. No, not me. I was a U.S. Marine. I don't forgive my enemies.

I don't forgive because I don't have to. And frankly, I see the task of forgiving as being left to God. I really believe that there are some things that not even God forgives. Muslims who kill the innocent is one of them. No, I don't even think God would forgive the group of Muslims who did what they did on 9/11.

As for my forgetting? While some say they will never forget, they will and probably already have. I know I won't because it's what helps keep me grounded in the truth about those who want to kill us. And frankly, that's just how I see things. That's what I learned from 9/11.

  1. I am curious if the pircture of the rubble and the cross is copyrighted? I am with a christian band and I am trying to creat and album cover for the band and I saw the picture and thought it was just perfect, but of course I need the author's permission first. If you are the author of the photo, please let me know. Thank you!

  2. Dear Shannon, Good luck with your band. Trust me when I say that I believe there should be more Christian Bands. I'm the author of the article, I did not take the pictures. As for the pictures, to my knowledge they are not copyrighted, I simply got them all off the internet. When I copied them, I was not blocked from copying them nor did I get any sort of warning that they could not be used due to copyright restrictions. Again, good luck with your band. God Bless, Tom

  3. please, do not forget that there was a Church on the spot of 11/9 attacks. A very old Church in NYC. And that both Bloomberg & Obama struggle to prevent that Church to be rebuilt where and as it ough to be

  4. JM, thanks for letting me know about Saint Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church. I honestly did not know about it. Also, I don't usually like folks putting links on my blog because some folks really abuse it and link to some real poor sites. But in this case, well I really thank you for providing it. I checked it out and read the history of the great old church. I'm shocked that no one has mentioned that a church came down and was buried beneath the rubble of the World Trade Center. If you don't mind, I'd like to do an article about Saint Nicholas Church before next week and 9/11. Again, thank you. God Bless you and yours, Tom

  5. Liberals are as bad as Muslims? First, you should realize that it wasn't Muslims that attacked us, it was a certain group of Muslims that attacked us: Al Queda. Al Queda is a Muslim group that has strong beliefs against Christians, mainly American Christians. The majority of all Muslims are NOT terrorists! Only Al Queda, Taliban, a few smaller organizations, and a small amount of unaffiliated supporters. And no, I'm not Liberal, or Conservative. I am a 16 year old that is neutral. I will vote for the right leader, not the political party. To sum it up for you, Muslims are not bad, terrorists are, it just so happens that the terrorist that attacked us were Muslim. If it were Jews that attacked us, I'm sure you would be blaming them for everything too. Taking everything I just said into consideration, I do agree with you on the subject of the cross. I'll be waiting for a reply.

    1. First, I am not "blaming" Muslims for everything, just what they have do. Read the article again and see for yourself. I am in fact saying that it was a group of American hating Muslims who are responsible for 9/11.

I do say that Muslims are taught to hate and love death -- because they are!

While you separate the "good" Muslims from the "bad" Muslims, this article addressed what I have learned since 9/11 about Islam. This article addresses who Muslims have shown themselves to be.

While I am sure that there must be some "good" Muslims who do not support the Koran or those who hate the way they do, I am also sure that they are not the majority.

My reasoning, the why I belive this to be true, is that Muslims are taught to hate and love death. They belive that death brings happiness. I believe that Muslims who do not belief this and instead see life as something to be cherished instead of thrown away are the "good" Muslims you talk about.

The pity is that, from what I've learned since 9/11, those "good" Muslims are far from being the Majority.

As long as Islam teaches its followers to love death, and murder is the way to show alligience to their prophet, then we will only see Muslims creating death and destruction around the world.

Maybe, when you get older, have lived a little longer and maybe seen more of the world around us, you too will understand that while it is true (as you said) that "the majority of Muslims are not terrorists" -- it is a fact that Muslims throughout the world who are taught the Koran are indeed taught to hate.

The Koran preaches hate. That is just a fact.

Like it or not, the majority of Muslims in the world are taught to hate and want death for those of us who will not convert to their religion of death.

You said I would blame all Jews for everything. Friend, no where in the Jewish or Christian religions, the Buddist or Hindu religions, or in any other religion are people taught to hate and love death as they are in Islam.

So when you say that I would blame all Jews for something that did, you are very mistaken and obviously assuming something that is not a fact about me.

And by the way, I believe when Muslims stand up against other Muslims and demand that the hate and bloodshed stops is when people like me -- people who see Muslims for who they are -- may start believing that there maybe hope in stopping the Muslim threat.

But frankly, until that happens, I see Muslims condoning the violence as the way of their prophet. Remember, since 9/11, after all of these years, even Muslims in America have never denounced what those other Muslims did on 9/11/2001. And yes, they remain silent about any of the other horrid actions that they have done since than.

That in itself is something that I have also learned about Muslims since 9/11 -- that they remain silent in the face of horrors committed to others by their own.

I hope you can understand how I see it -- agree or not.

  6. Everyone gets what they have coming. No one can avoid their past and no one can avoid judgement. Not even countries.

America thought they could bomb and kill people around the world for 60 years and escape retribution. On 9/11 they were proven wrong.

  8. Love your post! I too am a Christian and I believe just like you about the Muslims. They are evil.

One thing they can not stand is that no matter what evil throws at us, God will turn it around and make something good come out of it. He will never forsake us. I do believe the cross was a sign from God.

I also believe a lot of people turned to God after 9/11.

It breaks my heart that the world kept saying We will NOT forget. Yet, it's so clear that as the years go by, they do. Or at least they no longer want to remember.

I searched high and low to find some type of event going on in my neighborhood and could find nothing. Each year they got fewer and fewer.

I for one WILL NEVER FORGET. Nor will I forget those who are to blame for the murders.

I do believe we are told by Jesus to forgive our enemy and pray for them. That I will do. But I will NEVER FORGET.

Forgiving does not mean we think they were right in what they did. It just means we understand that they are lost souls in need of Christ.

It does not mean we should be a door mat and allow them to keep hurting us either.

It is very sad to me that these people have been raised to believe that what they are doing and the book they are following is true. Just as you and I believe in Jesus and the Bible.

I can't help but think that just before Jesus died and he prayed "Father forgive them for they know not what they are doing" would be the same prayer He would pray for these people.

These people really need our prayers and I for one will pray for them. I pray that one by one their eyes will be open and they too will find Jesus is the truth and they will follow Him too.

  16. How dare I? Well, where were you when all of those crazy liberals and ultra-left nutcases took to the streets and called for America to retreat and surrender in Iraq and Afghanistan after American Soldiers and Marines had died there?

Where was your objections when the National Media and top Democrats, like Representatives John Murtha and Nancy Pelosi, stopped supporting our troops and instead condemned their actions and actually embraced those bastards who called for the deaths of our troops?

Where was your liberal voice of support for George W. Bush when he caught hell for going into Iraq to root out the terrorists and hunt for the "Weapons of Mass Destruction" that the Clinton White House said was there? And before you say we didn't find WMDs, please remember that we did however find Muslim terrorist training camps.

Did you condemn Obama when he stopped the National News Media from calling the Fort Hood terrorist attack another Muslim attack on America?

Have you supported the liberal left, worked to effeminise our military, or give rights to terrorist prisoners in GITMO?

How dare I? Well, if the shoe fits - wear it.

I strongly believe that everyone has a right to there own opinion(hence the freedom of speech) the problem that I am starting to have is that instead of remembering the men and women who died in this horrible attack in a peaceful manner(hence rest in peace) we revert to the animalistic thoughts and actions that preceded the attack on our nation. It takes one man to destroy peace but a million people to come together to bring it back.. A very sad day is being remembered with hate and its sad!!!!

I say this to what ever agencies/entities are tasked, that they should not rest until ALL those responsible either in act, or in support of this despicable, cowardly act of terrorism, and those responsible either in act or in support of acts that may come in the future, are wiped off the face of this earth as the stains on humanity they are! 24. Tom,

Thank you for having the courage to write such an amazing article! Most people, sadly, just keep quiet. As with most Americans old enough to remember, I too remember with vivid clarity where I was and even how I was told of what was had happened, and I remember my co-worker and I scrambling to the TV in the meeting room as soon as I got off the phone and watching in horror as the events unfolded, ignoring the work phone as it rang in the office, numb with shock. It all seemed so unreal.

As for those who sneer at what you write, we just pray for them. Pray that some day they will see the light and the truth. It is just so sad, because what most of the liberals keep doing with America, I really don't believe is what our founding fathers had in mind when they started this wonderful country of ours. We are a country founded on freedom, not of power and control, which seems to be what most of these far left liberals are all about. They are power hungry and feel they need to control everything. That we, as Americans, need to be mindless robots, ready to bend to their will.

Again, thank you, Tom. Your article is wonderful. God Bless you and your family.

  25. Tom, what I don't understand is that you say things like "God Bless America" and then you (and most other conservatives) go and spread hate towards the Liberals. Are these people not part of America? Are they not worthy of God's Blessing? I'm not from the U.S., but from an outside view, it doesn't seem that your country won't have any peace or prosperity until you put aside your hatred for one another. I mean, you're president is a Liberal and no matter what good he does, he gets no credit-only negativity. I love what the U.S. stands for, but it's sad to watch your country eat itself from within.

By the way, it was during your Conservative presidency that 9/11 happened....imagine if it had taken place during a Liberal presidency-the conservatives would've wanted someone's head on a platter.

    1. This is an interesting post. God Bless you -- if you are a good man. I can only hope that God does not bless you or your deeds if your are not.

And I guess that's where I stand on that. While America as a whole is a good nation, I ask God to bless us knowing that a few do not rate being blessed along with the others.

For example, Liberal Democrats who are against freedom and democracy, who have a legacy of slavery, who have a belief in Big Government control and regulation, of the Government being in charge of more and more aspects of our lives, who have accomplished the accumulation of over 700,000 Federal regulations that rival anything that former Communist Russsia has -- no, I don't want God to bless them or their efforts.

I would love to live a life where I don't have to see the Liberal Left as suspect in their behaviors. I don't hate Liberal Democrats in the same way as I don't hate Liberal Republicans. But frankly, I don't trust them because they are not good for America culturally and economically,

As far as what good Obama has done, please write and explain what he has done good for Americans or the rest of the world. And yes, I believe if 9/11 happened on his watch -- he would get a pass from the Liberal mainstream media who sees his policies are not harmful for America when in fact they are proving to be just that.

Look at all of the incompetence and many scandals that have taken place under Obama, I really believe that if he were White and a Republican, the Liberal mainstream media would have ate him for lunch by now -- he would have been impeached for not doing his basic duties nevertheless more.

Obama has been a complete failure only to the happiness of Jimmy Carter who hoped that another President would go down in history as being worse than Carter.

Dear Tom, Thank you for this great article. There can not be enough reminders to the fact that almost 800 million people still follow the teachings of a schizophrenic pedophile that roamed an African desert almost a millennium and a half ago. Teachings/rants no one bothered to update since. All that improved over time was the hardware used to kill non muslims. Because of this enlightened preacher, 10 year old girls are raped by their 60 year old husbands. Not a thousand yeras ago. Today! Islam is the only ideology that stipulates in which order non muslims should be eradicated, it orders its followers to pretend to cooperate with non muslims in order to get in a position to do them harm. Lying, killing, thieving and fraud are recognized 'tools' to improve the life of a muslim. I am sure there must be muslims that are harmless, friendly people that only want to blend into society and get a better life for their kids. But I can't see the difference between those people and the guy sitting next to me in a theatre wearing a bombelt that will explode in a couple of minutes. Muslims are the present day Klingons. Always on the prowl, always furious because someone somewhere decided to have a view of their own and always ready to attack because 'honor' is always an excuse to wipe someone out. Even when that someone is your own daughter who talked to a guy you don't know from the mosque where you spend half your life.
To me muslims are as desirable as anthrax and as expendable as nail clippings. The world would be a better place without these neanderthals messing it up.

The worst of our society comes from ideas and actions from liberals and those with nothing but greed in their hearts; those who have only their own interests in mind.

  28. Pure unadulterated hate - and exactly the result the terrorists sought. Have you counted the hundreds of thousands of Iraqis killed, the more than 4000 US service personnel killed in Irag, and the 500000 Iraqi refugees created by the War on Terror? 9/11 was an evil attack, but what followed as vengeance was worse.

    1. No hate here -- just saying what Muslims have taught me since 9/11/2001. This is what this article is about: the 9/11 Cross, the Liberal Lefts hated for America, and the Muslim threat.

As for "hundreds of thousands of Iraqis killed"? As for "500000 Iraqi refugees created by the War on Terror?

Ask the Left where it gets such stats? Who is providing such stats? Or ask, what agenda does the provider of such information have? Are they pro-American, anti-American? Communists? Socialist? Just Bush Haters?

Are they people like Code PInk who endorses the murder of our troops? Who funds such groups? Use your head and ask for yourself instead of letting the Left fill your head full of lies!

And yes, tell me again who is really being manipulated when they have you spouting the lies and propaganda being passed out by the Liberal Left and the Democrat Party in America? Wake up, open your eyes, and don't let the Left think for you!

If anything, ask yourself what would have happened if we didn't take the fight to them? Would you have rather they bring it here to our cities and towns?

Muslims are the threat. Don't allow the Left to spin that truth in a way that makes you think that somehow we went there and bombed them on 9/11 or that we wanted this -- when the fact is that we didn't want it or need it.

  29. How can you say that all Muslims are bad! Was it not less then 70 years aago where most Americans thought African Americans should not be there? That they should have reverted back to thier old ways and whip them good if they missed-behaved? And to call yourself a Christian with all this hate in your heart is just as bad as blowing up a building yourself. For I KNOW that if you were a muslim born and raised whith their book programed into your head, you too would do such a hoarrendous act. It's people who feel too strongly in what they believe in that are provoked to do such actions. If you cant find peace within your self, for your self then please, find peace for the people who died during that terriable day, do it for them.

  32. Dear Tom, Thank you for your post "The 9/11 Cross"
and for letting me contribute. I'm an Aussie and therefore not familiar with your local organisations, however in response to Joanne Kennedy, might I suggest that if there is no official 9/11 Memorial in her area, she checks with local organisations that may have there own, i.e. the Police or Fire Departments or local churches or veterans. Or gather like minded people together for a service. It does not have to be long or complicated, or even held in a building. But God is mentioned, many of those poor people who had time to know they had no hope of escape, would have called his name. We have Anzac day (from 1916), and Armistice day to remember the sacrifices of our men and women in wars and peace keeping duties. It is constantly being criticised and attempts to under mine it through the media, as being irrelevant or war mongering. As long as we remember it and participate each year and educate our next generation, we will never forget. Why?, because they are our family members & comrades that never came home. Most of our armed forces served overseas and the bodies were not returned. This is a collective remembrance.
We have an ode that is said, the last line, "We will remember them".
I have looked on the march of Anzac day as one long pray to honour the dead. My Father who is close to 90 marks these two days as the most important in the year and attends the services each year so he can honour his comrades who did not return. He served his country as a young man as did his father. We the following generations make sure he gets there.
    Thank you again.

  33. I think its sad everything in America is linked to race or political affiliation. Our troops are at war dying for a war on terrorism. They are fighting a battle that can never be won. There will always be evil throughout the world and America has placed our own at risk. Now before you attack me, it is my duty to support and defend the orders of the President and the officers appointed over me. Yes I serve! Yes I am deployed, and yes I will give my life for the nation I love. It is my duty and obligation as a US Soldier. That does not make it right. And by the way, President Bush was not a cowboy. He was a city boy with a fake accent. Similar to Madonna. The best thing is for Americans to stop bashing each other and unite as one. After 9/11 there were no colors, or political groups, Just one nation, under God. Just 10 years later, we are divided again. I wish you guys the best.

    http://islam.about.com/cs/currentevents/a/9_11statements.htm

I never understood people who demonize an entire population for the actions of a few.

And just so you are aware, there were a number of Muslim victims in the Twin Towers when they were attacked:

You think their family and friends were rejoicing?

It is not Muslims who are the enemy. It is al-Quaeda and the other terrorist groups out there (Muslim or not).

I am 15 and i remember exactly what i was doing on 9-11,2011, and know that many people say that they will "never forget", but they probably only remember it when it comes around once a year, in their foolishness they do not realize why it happened and why we are fighting them and who the people are that did it. I am an American and i believe that we should fight them and do whatever it takes to get rid of them, because these people are full of the devil and they wont stop at anything to kill anyone who is not muslim. They want to die for that devil they call Allah, then id be happy to give them that wish, because if we were both to die, hes not going to the same place im going, ill leave that to you to figure where im going and where hes going. 55. These pictures and your words should be burned into the memory of every American reminding us that there are people and cultures out there that hate us so much they're willing to die for that hatred. We now spend all of our energy being offended by history and the thought of having the truth presented to us. Tom, your blog, should be required reading in each history classroom in this country...even it does make someone uncomfortable. Blog on!

    1. Hello GeezerGuy,
I cannot thank you enough for your kind words. I agree with you 100%. People like you give me hope, because you are a patriot who understands the problems that we face at home while our enemies plan their next attacks on us. We must stay vigilant and ready to defend our beautiful nation.

      God Bless you and yours,
      Tom Correa

  56. There are a lot of people who remember exactly where they were on 9/11. Just like there were people who remembered where they were during the Alamo, the Civil War, and JFK. But it's not easy to forget. Or even forgive. Remember this. What is lost in the fire is found in the ashes.
