About me?

My photo
Tom Correa
About me? Well, I'm married, originally from Hawaii, of Portuguese ancestry, retired, a U.S. Marine, old-fashion, Catholic, very Conservative, and not Politically Correct. As for my Cowboy ways? The years I spent growing up on my grandfather's ranch in Kunia helped make me who I am. Over the years, I've mended fences, fixed water troughs, gathered a lot of cattle, fed calves, milked cows, doctored horses, put in a lot of time in a saddle, and ate a lot of dust during brandings. Of course, you may call me crazy because I still love doing it. As for my writing style, I write the same as if we were talking over a cup of coffee. As for research, I like doing my own by going through period newspapers, court documents, arrest records, journals, and more. So why write this blog? Well, my wife Deanna and I live in the central Sierra Nevada Mountains living simple lives and work hard trying to make ends meet. We thank God for our blessings and we believe we should celebrate and defend our American culture, values, and heritage.
