RANDOM SHOTS - Layoffs Result Of Obama Re-Election, Sandy Victims Get No Help & Obama Goes On Vacation, and more!

President Obama Wins - Then Goes On Vacation?

He's going on vacation? What's with that? I don't get it.

The reports all say the same thing, that after spending several months crisscrossing the United States, Barack Obama will travel to Asia later this month visiting Thailand, Burma and Cambodia on vacation.

A statement from the White House Press Secretary said Obama will travel to Thailand, Burma, and Cambodia on a three-day trip from November 17th through 20th.

Apparently Obama's priorities do not include what's happening at home. After all, the president is leaving on vacation while the nation suffers.

Forget what the biased liberal mainstream media would have done if this were George W. Bush, forget that Obama hasn't spent very much time doing his job over the last year because he's been too busy campaigning. Is this what 58 Million fools voted for?

America has victims of Hurricane Sandy who are in much worse shape than those who experienced Hurricane Katrina. And no, victims of Hurricane Sandy have not gotten the help that Obama promised them.

America has increasing energy and fuel prices, which Obama said he would address after the election. Yet no word on anything being done raising prices.

America has an immigration problem. Although Obama might not consider it a problem any more since his party found enough illegals to vote for him. Maybe he is just going to give blanket amnesty - as a pay back before he hits the golf course.

Americans are going hungry like never before. Programs can't keep up with the homeless and the hungry as the economy is getting worse not better. If you don't think so, find out how many more people will lose their jobs between now and the first of the year.

And ask yourself what Obama is doing about it - right at this very moment? You will find out that he is more worried about his vacation plans than he is about putting Americans to work.

Americans are losing their homes like never before. That is a fact that the Obama campaign was saying wasn't taking place but knows is in effect the truth of what is happening across the nation.

Sure mortgage companies and low interest rates have helped save some homes from foreclosure, but what about those folks who are without a job and are having to make the choice between paying their mortgage and feeding their family?

And how about those who are losing their jobs? They can't pay their bills including mortgage or rent, simply because they are out of work?

America needs help in so many areas including bringing down food and gas prices. And yes, America is headed for fiscal cliff in just a few months. And where is that champion of the left, the re-elected idol of the liberal mindset, well how about making vacation plans.

Just imagine this for a moment, Obama and others in his administration feel they have "earned" a vacation. Why? Well, supposedly because they've just got finished working so hard.

But working on what? And for who? The whole time Obama and his gang were running around the country raising money from donors, they were not doing their job of running the administration. They were not working for the American people at all.

They were AWOL from doing their job that they were hired to do. They dismissed all concerns regarding the economy and the security of Americans here and abroad - and instead tended to their own needs to raise money for themselves.

And now, they have the nerve to say they need a vacation! So instead of using his political capital after winning re-election, and maybe getting something done in Washington DC, he just wants to get out of town and go on vacation.

I don't give a damn how much hate mail I get, I think he is a loser and is doing nothing to help Americans.
but honestly, I really don't think he cares.

It is apparent by his wanting to go to Burma for a vacation that the next four year are going to be just more of the same that we've had for the last 4 years.

Obama's attitude stinks! And yes, what his attitude tells me is that we can't depend on finding any healthy leadership from the government to help Americans in trouble.

It's up to us to do without the Federal government. We will have to tend to the real work on real issues like helping friends and neighbors in need.

New York, New Jersey Victims Of Sandy Suffer As New Storm Hits Northeast Coast

President Obama doesn't seem to care if tens of thousands of residents in New York and New Jersey are again plunged in darkness, and public transport in those regions is disrupted as a second storm battered the U.S. Northeast coast after Superstorm Sandy wreaked havoc last week.

New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg said he was not recommending a mass evacuation following the latest bad weather, several people were again forced to leave their homes within a week of returning after Sandy subsided.

Heavy snow and strong winds that gusted at up to 60 mph have hit parts of the two adjoining states. The rough weather brought down trees and power lines, causing traffic delays and blackouts, reports say.

More than 80,000 homes are reportedly without electricity one week after Sandy claimed 120 lives. New York City authorities closed all parks, playgrounds and beaches and ordered temporary halt to all outdoor constructions today.

Major airlines have suspended flight arrivals and departures in New York and New Jersey airports ahead of the storm. This is in addition to the cancellation of more than 20,000 flights that Sandy forced last week.

National Weather Service (NWS) said that a storm system moving northward off the East Coast will bring a wintry mix of precipitation to areas across the northern Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, as well as wind gusts as high as 60 mph along the coast.

Snowfall across interior sections of New England could approach 6-10 inches. Minor to moderate coastal flooding is almost a certainty in New Jersey and New York.

But hey, New Jersey governor Chris Christie said that President Obama did a great job. So I guess with that Obama figures that he doesn't have to worry about the victims of Hurricane Sandy anymore and just go on vacation.

Other then maybe getting a hug from Chris Christie before leaving Obama probably feels fairly certain that no one will miss him if he goes on vacaction.

And no, I don't think anyone will miss him. In fact, after the election the other day, I can think of a few people that would like him to stay gone.

Persistent Gas Shortage After Sandy Prompts Rationing In New York City

With long gas lines persisting more than a week after Superstorm Sandy, New York imposed a gasoline rationing plan Thursday that lets motorists fill up every other day.

Police will now be stationed at gas stations starting Friday morning to enforce the new system in New York City and on Long Island.

Gas will be available to drivers with license-plate numbers ending in an odd number or a letter on Friday. On Saturday, drivers with license plates that end in even numbers of zero can fuel up.

Officials said something had to be done to ease the long waits for fuel, which they say has caused panic-buying and hoarding.

Bloomberg said the system worked well in New Jersey, where lines went from a two-hour wait to 45 minutes after Gov. Chris Christie announced a similar rationing plan.

Bloomberg said only a quarter of the city's gas stations were open. Some were closed because they were out of power, others because they can't get fuel from terminals and storage tanks that can't unload their cargoes. One station owner in Queens' Bayside section said the last time he had gas was three days ago.

The rationing plan takes effect at 5 a.m. Friday on Long Island, where hundreds of thousands of customers remain without power; and at 6 a.m. in New York City.

Buses, taxes and limousines, commercial vehicles and emergency vehicles are exempt from the plan, as are people carrying portable gas cans. Vanity plates that don't have numbers are considered odd-numbered plates. Out-of-state drivers are also subject to the system.

The mayor said the shortages could last another couple of weeks.
Officials said the rationing would be across the region, including Nassau and Suffolk Counties on Long Island, to avoid a rush across municipal lines for gas.

New power outages on Long Island caused by this week's nor'easter again left stations with gasoline in their tanks unable to activate pumps. Suffolk County Executive Steven Bellone said the rationing "will ease the challenges residents of the bi-county region are experiencing" after the storm.

But the people are irate for good reason!

Ten days after Hurricane Sandy struck, thousands of people are still without heat, water, electricity or food. A situation that is totally unsatisfactory!

Layoffs started as result of Obama re-election.

It was projected that companies would have to layoff workers if President Barack Hussein Obama was re-elected.

There are only a few reasons for this taking place, but mostly it's just a matter of companies coming to grips with reality that nothing has changed and we will all have more of the same from the Obama White House for the next 4 years.

Private companies are under attack in America, and the Obama administration is the attacker.

Example, because of Obama's war on coal, at least Coal company executive has announced the layoff of more than 160 workers after Obama re-election

A major coal company announced more than 160 layoffs across three subsidiaries this week, becoming perhaps the first company to follow through on cutbacks in the event of a second President Obama term.

Robert Murray, CEO of Murray Energy Corporation, began to inform workers of the layoffs the day after Obama won re-election.

He announced 102 layoffs at UtahAmerican Energy Inc. and another 54 layoffs at The American Coal Company in Illinois.

The official statement put out by Murray's company cited Obama's "War On Coal," where the Obama administration has forced unreal regulations on the industry.

Regulations which have "already (led) to the closure by 2014 of 204 American coal-fired power plants."

The company announced another seven layoffs Thursday at the Kanawha Transportation Center in Wheeling, W.Va.

Another energy company, UtahAmerican Energy blames the Obama administration for instituting policies that will close down “204 American coal-fired power plants by 2014″ and for drastically reducing the market for coal.

It is expected that other CEOs - many of whom voice their concerns before Election Day about the burden on business from the federal health care overhaul, EPA regulations and other policies - will follow suit.

Large corporations join small businesses in announcing huge layoffs as a result of Obama re-election

There is no telling how many Obama voters will lose their jobs - because of their vote!

Karma is nothing to mess with, and in the case of those fools who voted for Obama - karma may be coming around sooner then expected as layoff start as a result of Obama's re-election.

So do elections have consequences? You bet they do!

Wall Street has had two horrible days since President Obama won a second term, but stock prices are not the only thing taking a hit. The job market is taking a big hit.

More than 45 Companies have announced layoffs 48 hours after Obama's re-election.

Yes, in the first 48 hours following Obama's re-election - major corporations announced layoffs in throughout America. Here are some of them:   Pepsi is said to layoff 4,000 workers
Energizer, the St. Louis-based company said Thursday that it expects to shed about 1,500 employees. When finished, the restructuring should lead to $200 million in pre-tax yearly savings, Energizer said. It aims to have most of its restructuring steps finished by the end of September 2014.

Exide Technologies announced Thursday that it will be idling its lead-recycling operations in Laureldale and laying off 150 workers, effective no later than March 31.

Westinghouse Anniston, the contractor responsible for shutting down Anniston’s chemical weapons incinerator, has reduced its workforce by another 50 employees.

Research in Motion Limited, the maker of BlackBerry smartphones, laid off about 200 people at its U.S. headquarters in Irving on Wednesday.

Lightyear Network Solutions has had to layoff more than a dozen employees at a Pikeville company this week. In preparation for what's coming , Lightyear Network Solutions is consolidating offices in Louisville and Pikeville.

The Providence Journal Co. laid off 23 full-time workers Wednesday as part of a cost-cutting effort, including 16 union members of the Providence Newspaper Guild and 7 non-union employees.

Hawker Beechcraft says 240 employees will lose their jobs with the closing of Hawker Beechcraft Services facilities in Little Rock, Ark.; Mesa, Ariz.; and San Antonio, Texas.

Boeing said Wednesday it plans to layoff 30% of their management at its Boeing Defense, Space & Security unit by the end of this year.

CVPH Medical Center has handed pink slips to 17 employees. The layoffs - nine in management and eight hourly staffers.

US Cellular will cut 980 jobs with 640 in the Chicago area alone.

Momentive Performance Materials has announced that it will cut about 150 workers at Sistersville’s Momentive Performance Materials plant later this month.

Rocketdyne cut 100 employees at Pratt & Whitney Rocketdyne, most of whom work in the San Fernando Valley, on Wednesday.

Brake Parts, a leader of an automotive parts plant in Lincoln County has told state officials that there are plans to lay off 75 workers starting in late December.
Vestas Wind Systems A/S (VWS) is cutting as much as 20 percent and said it’s reducing its workforce by 3,000 to raise the staff cuts by the biggest wind turbine maker to almost a third over two years.

Husqvarna AB (HUSQB), the world’s biggest maker of powered garden tools, plans to cut about 600 jobs.

Bristol-Myers Squibb is following up its lackluster third-quarter results with almost 480 layoffs.
OCE North America Inc, provider of Trumbull printer- and scanning-equipment, will lay off 135 workers in three Connecticut communities, including East Hartford.

Darden Restaurants, which was among those who had received an ObamaCare waiver in the past, is looking to limit workers to 28 hours per week. A full time employee that is required to have health insurance (lest the employer pay a fine) works 30 hours per week, as defined by the ObamaCare law.

United Blood Services Gulf South region, the non-profit blood service provider for much of south Louisiana and Mississippi, will lay off approximately 10 percent of its workforce.

A layoff is tough enough for employees to deal with, imagine hearing the crushing news that your office is shutting down just before Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Here are some of the business closings that were announced in just the past two days:

•Caterpillar Inc. will close its plant in Owatonna Minn.
•Mount Pleasant’s Albrecht Sentry Foods
•The Target store at Manassas Mall Va.
•Millennium Academy in Wake Forest NC
•Target Closing Kissimmee FL Location
•The Andover Gift Shop in Andover MA
•Grand Union Family Markets Closing Storrs Location CT
•Movie Scene Milford Location NH
•Update: TE Connectivity Closing Greensboro Plant – 620 Layoffs Expected
•Gomer’s Fried Chicken in South Kansas City
•Kmart in Homer Glen
•Fresh Market on Pine Street in Burlington
•AGC Glass North America to permanently close its Blue Ridge Plant in Kingsport Tenn.
•The Target store at Platte and Academy in Colorado Springs
•The Roses store on Reynold Road in Winston-Salem NC
•Meanders Kitchen losing its West Seattle location at 6032 California Ave
•Bost Harley-Davidson at 46th Avenue North and Delaware Ave. in West Nashville TN
•Townsend Booksellers in Oakland
•The Kmart store in Parkway Plaza off University Drive in Durham NC – 79 Jobs Lost
As I stated before, more than 45 Companies have announced layoffs 48 hours after Obama's re-election. If that isn't a signal of things to come as a result of those fools voting for Obama, I don't know what is.

Of course, President Barack Hussein Obama doesn't care - he's going on vacation.

MSNBC's Bashir apologizes to young viewers 'frightened' by Krauthammer’s face

By Noel Sheppard

The childish unprofessionalism on display at MSNBC is becoming breathtaking.

Anchor Martin Bashir on Wednesday jokingly apologized to young viewers who might have been “frightened by” Charles Krauthammer's face in a video clip that was aired on his show.

While speaking about the election with GQ’s Ana Marie Cox and the Washington Post’s Jonathan Capehart, Bashir asked, “Do Republicans understand what has happened? Let’s listen to the great Charles Krauthammer.”

This evoked laughter from Cox and Capehart.

After playing a Fox News video clip of Krauthammer commenting about Tuesday’s election results, Bashir said, “Now I need to apologize to any young viewers who may have been frightened by that face.”

This again evoked laughter from Cox.

Honestly, is this what MSNBC considers journalism today?

Krauthammer is a Pulitzer Prize-winner whose columns are syndicated to more than 275 newspapers and media outlets.

He received a medical degree from Harvard in 1975 completing his residency in psychiatry at Massachusetts General Hospital. In 1984 he was certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology.

While at Harvard, he was involved in a diving accident that left him paralyzed but didn’t prevent him from finishing his studies and completing his degree.

He received a Pulitzer Prize in 1987, and is considered one of the nation’s leading conservative voices.

Yet Bashir, who commands virtually no respect from his peers given his consistent unprofessionalism and sophomoric behavior, has the nerve to ridicule Krauthammer for his appearance.

And the folks at MSNBC wonder why nobody takes this so-called “news network” seriously.

For me, I don't know how low those folks at MSNBC will stoop in their attacks on FOX News.

I don't know if it's a case of jealousy because their ratings are in the basement while FOX News rating are through the roof. I don't know if it's just a matter of just more liberal hate mongering.

I do believe, like many others who are writing me to tell me about the really shabby behavior at MSNBC, that they are about a classless crew as a group goes.

I do believe that networks lie MSNBC encourage liberals to want to threaten to kill Mitt Romney - as what has taken place over the last few months on Twitter and other forms of social media. MSNBC incites hate.

Comcast now owns 51% of NBC Universal while GE owns 49% of the corporation.

I can't help but wonder if Comcast and GE are OK with the way their network operates? If so, I'd think twice about doing business with Comcast or GE.

As a consumer, because of the way their network encourages hate and division in America, I won't purchase any GE product and advise people to discontinue their Comcast.

Rasmussen: Republicans Stand Firm on Values

As Washington returns to work after an election that ratified the status quo of divided government, polling shows that voters feel it’s important for the Republicans to work with President Barack Obama.

However, those who are members of the Republican Party disagree.

Some 55 percent of likely voters say it is important for the Republican to work with the president, according to a new Rasmussen Reports survey. Some 86 percent of Democrats and 56 percent of independents agree.

However, 79 percent of Republicans think their party should put what it stands for first, a higher number than four years ago.

And yes, 56 Million people voted to stop the Obama agenda. So I'd say that that shows that Conservatives want the Republican controlled House of Representative not to cave to Obama and Harry Reid and the Democrat controlled Senate.

The next election is only two years away, 2014 should be the sequel of what took place in 2010 - except this time we need to take the Senate!
